  1. Anyway, maybe they started recruiting on their management (that's if there is one, as every time you ask for one, they tell you that there are NO MANAGERS), the same people that see you as a nuisance when you start purchasing more than a single product, have you noticed how sometime, if any given product has a cost of, let's say 10 bahts, if you buy a box of 10, instead of getting charged 100 bahts, or less, they actually charge you 150 bahts (this is just an example)???

I have seen it countless times, where is the logic in that? Maybe because if you can afford to buy more, then you must to be rich so you should pay more, or what? That's something that still really baffles me after so long

...and NO, there were no special offers, it is really the way it works, buy more, pay more

With the advent of MNP years ago there really is no reason to stick with a service provider which does not meet your requirements, certainly not ~ 13 years.

You can't really predict when the standards will start falling apart completely, now that the time has come, it hasn't really taken that long, really, being told that basically they can do everything they want without even telling  you, was the last straw, what a bunch of messed up people have they become....just stay away from AIS, or you know what to expect

  3. I think the expat's community, should really try to find a way to help out the way they can, in similar cases, there are so many of us living here long term, and just a little contribution can go a long way.

Any of us can get into trouble in a way or another at some point of our permanence, wouldn't just be wonderful if something can be done about it?

While at the same time, ALWAYS keeping an open eye onto  another kind of expat....http://www.harrisblackwatch.com/

  4. Ohh well, i honestly couldn't believe my ears when the operator at 1175, told me that they decided to change the rules, without feeling any needs to at least have the decency to let me know about it, it's a truly bizarre experience, last month i was so relieved that i could transfer the balance from one handset to the other again, they had me waiting those compulsory 3 months again, before i could return to a normal service, but today, again, it stopped with no warnings whatsoever, what a joke!

In 3 days i am going to be with DTAC, i really hope that i wouldn't fall again victim of an irresponsible and cheating way to do business.

  5. Someone might remember this topic here http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/934997-new-scam-from-ais-1-2call/#comment-11008746, well, it has taken till last month to being able to restart using the phone normally.

I thought this mess would have been over by now, since i could restart transferring my balance, from one handset to the other as normal, but guess what?

These geniuses managed to block the service AGAIN!

Obviously, it wasn't enough for them, to create all the inconveniences i had to go through, because of THEIR mistake, it had to happen again, and you know why?

Because despite being using this typical company since 2003, this is the way they appreciate a continuous custom : "...excuse me Sil, we change the agleement, it's up to AIS and we don't have to tell you filst...."

Fluck hem, i am not going to take anymore of their monkey business, it's over, TIT

A lot of people here on Thaivisa love to open their gizzards with no clue or facts behind their statements. It is not "a couple weeds", it is an overgrown lot growing in some places over 20 feet tall

I stand by my words, there is no task a goat cannot achieve, just get a few if you needed it to be done quick, G.I. Goats will exceed your expectations as there is literally no altitude they cannot deal with, just Goggle them by yourself: "climbing goats".

A second less environmental's choice, would be to give a quick call to the "Cpac" and get a new parking lot just in time for the New Year's celebrations...

the Bangkok Embassy was being sold off, seems they did well when the sold off, the front strip on Sukhumvit.

If they finally decided to sod off, they very likely had good reasons for doing it....

Bet I know what happened. Bus is speeding in OUTSIDE lane. Brit pulls into road's INSIDE lane. Bus suddenly undertakes slower vehicle and hits Brit.

Saw it all in my crystal ball.

That's what i see every times, the only difference is that usually they are so lucky to not to get into a collision......not this time though.

Overtaking on blind spots it's another really common road's habit, and in my ten years of driving all around, i managed to not to get a single scratch without even installing an amulet or get some golden's fingerprints anywhere.....amazing!

Of course I am convinced.. the guy got hit in the drivers side.. it is consistent with the story of him coming out of a soi merging onto the main road.

So i bet you have never seen any of these buses, or other vehicles of any kinds, overtaking from the hard shoulder before?

Let me remind you that we are discussing about an accident on a road located in THAILAND.

If you look closely at the picture in the article, you'll notice that there are no Rubbish Bins available to put the trash

Do you really believe that these people would throw their trash into the bin, even if they had it just half an inch away from their own fingers?????? :omfg:

It has taken a while till i managed to get at least the road and foothpath fronting my property, finally rubbish-free, as no thai would ever even think about telling another thai to dispose off properly, its own trash. If however you are a fellong, then expect even a public beating for it.

People as this one, calling on "tourists" (so it might sounds as just another word for falangs), are so rare that they made it to the news when they come out with it

its quite clear the Brit was in the wrong here.

That's if you are absolutely confident that the thai driver it's telling the truth...as thais never lies or do anythings wrong, right???  :partytime2:

Too often i have seen drivers going from one lane to another, at speed and without using their indicators, they couldn't care less about road's rules or safety whatsoever, it's an almost daily issue (only when i am out driving, never a problem when i stay at home, i got to be honest on this), that i see with my own eyes.

My question is this, if they raid my classroom and arrest me for working illegally what will be the likely outcome.

My bet is that once they smelled that you were able to made a nice little income to survive, instead of having the business going belly up as they might have previously thought, some of them might have just reminded about one of its useless relatives, which can't be of any use even into the rice's field, what a great opportunity for the festivities to find a decent occupation for him....at least till the reality of things will eventually kick in to destroy whatever effort a proper individual has previously made.......TIT

    What did i won?

well, that seems to make 3 immigration officers, giving wrong information and stamps.

i guess, I always imagined, they would know their business  well,

Probably too many for being just a coincidence, isn'it?

I am surprised that this successful "business model", it's not much more widespread of what currently is.

Think about it, you go out to buy any services/product listed at a very cheap price, only to find out when the bill comes, that it was multiple times what the real cost should have been, and you get sent straight to prison if you don't promptly fork out the cash.....the list of TTT here on TV telling you that it's all your fault, would be almost endless :partytime2:

So,with a non O visa, can one leave every 90 days  and keep doing  that for 1year

A multi entry Non O, can give you close to 15 months if you re-enter Thailand, on your last day of visa validity, or close to it, basically you get an extra 90 days FREE visa on top of it (even if your visa will be already expired, ON THE DAY AFTER YOUR RE-ENTRY, it's the new "admitted until" date stamped by the immi that will matter).

Lot of scrutiny is what people seem to prefer instead of leaving the country for 1 days every 3 months.

Then they wonder why they receive house visits :-)

If you have the luck to cross the border at a time which there are no queues, you are in and out in a matter of minutes, just the time to get stamped out and in again, no need to stay out for a day at all.

Why would a person not want to get the one year extension?

    In general of course.

Because in some cases, you still have to made a trip to your local immigration's office (you can't choose it), which might by chance be a longer trip than crossing the border, if on top of that you add the fact that you have to share very private things with these "....", as a picture of you and your wife on the bed where you do your many other rather private things, someone (not everyone, but still) might find that a little uncomfortable.

Then you can add other stuff, as ending up having to meet some very unpleasant individuals EVERY few months, it makes crossing the border a much nicer experience, especially if it's a place with a big market, but unfortunately, thais are great at destroying any nice things that a foreigner might experience, and even doing a crossing at Poipet, has become a hell of a nightmare......
