yeah my number is saved under the "top up" button. I still need to type in the desired amount I want to top up and still need to type the OTP.

If I was post pay I would still need to do exactly the same.

And who in their right mind would disable the OTP ?

Again, there IS an option to disable the OTP code, just for a number of YOUR choice.

Probably someone which in its right mind would like to avoid wasting time in a security measure that ask you to request a code and then insert it back every time you want to top up YOUR own phone with the same amount.....ohh dear

    how ?

to make a top up payment it is 2 mouse clicks, type in amount, another mouse click, wait for OTP to arrive on my phone, type in OTP and then one final mouse click.

First you have to save a template (pre-compiled form) with all the info necessary for this transaction, using your internet banking's page, things as the telephone number you would like to top up, amount, etc, once you have done that, you save it and the next time you just do a simple click on it rather than inserting over and over the same info again, i believe there is also an option to disable the OTP for this, but i can't remember exactly where it was as i did it many years ago.

Ohh dear, it's this the thai version of that robot's soldier which it's going to replace our troops on the battlefield soon???

According to the local war's manual, that black opening i see on this pic, it should be placed in the middle of the machine, not on top, and be on a vertical position....

Hard to imagine why the CP group don't welcome the 35 million AIS users anymore?

Just because they have an interest in True?

Not so hard to think of a reason, if AIS has started messing up their actions with the businesses they deal with on the same way as they are doing with their customers, that's a logic consequence, not everyone it's ready to welcome the <deleted> they are up to lately, well done 7/11, GOOD RIDDANCE!

  5. They are a bunch of hopeless morons, their services as everything else it's a it and miss, but lately they seems to have been recruiting or just training their staff to be simply horrible.

They'll not admit their fault, stop your service without reason and when you contact anyone they'll simply reply that they don't know anything on how to fix your issue and they'll pass it on on their bosses, which guess what? They will never get back to you or leave alone fix their krapp krap krap, absolute krapp! This is AIS, a total and utter disgrAIS

PATTAYA: -- A phone repair shop in Pattaya is offering free phone repairs to boat and jetski operators

Free only to "la creme de la mer".....i wouldn't be surprised if all of a sudden all the jetsky's operators would turn up with a Vertu, then claim the repairer's shop  damaged even more their handset and ask for a couple hundreds thousand Bahts in compensation......

Seriously though.........You may not make any money ..but all your expenses will be taken care of and one thing leads to another as I would easily surmise you can meet plenty of the "right people" that will help you secure work in some way or another.

    An adventure in the making.

    Cheers

  8. Unless you work for BOT (https://www.bot.or.th/English/BOTStoryTelling/Pages/RecruitmentInternshipScholarship_StoryTelling_Student.aspx), making money by yourself it's not recommendable.

Unfortunately the country you are intending to visit, doesn't really fit so well with the purpose of it, either change country or the reason for coming in.

Coming to this place for finding a work, it's like wanting to go to the desert looking for a white bear, really, this must to be one of the most retrograde and (not so) secretly xenophobe country on earth, for how hard it makes for a foreigner to have a "normal" and honest life, you might end up into prison for just doing some good deeds, so, if you really are still willing to have a go, it might work out much better to do something which might be worth the risk.

Alternatively, you might want to look for one of those short term voluntary positions, for an NGO or whatever else, as if you don't have some friend or friend of a friend, willing to hire you, it might simply prove to be impossible finding what you are looking for, no matter how lucky you are....

Khaosod reported that the chief propagandist Sansern dismissed the behavior as un-Thai.

Notice he didn't say this about gangs of violent vigilantes harassing and assaulting people who seemed insufficiently sad...

Indeed, on 18 October, Justice Minister Paiboon Kumchaya was asked by the media for his opinion about the vigilante attack against a soy milk seller in Phuket accused of lèse majesté that occurred three days earlier - the Minister replied nothing is better than vigilantism and also encouraged Thais in other countries to do the same with lèse majesté offenders living abroad.

    :coffee1:

:cheesy:  ....i can't believe they are at it again!

Just a few years back some government's official stated more or less the same thing, which foreigners abroad doing something that it's illegal in Thailand must to be prosecuted, now i can't remember if he also said that he would organize an expedition abroad to get the transgressors of the thai laws (not people being in Thailand, but foreigners in farangland which don't complies with thai laws, yes!), but i think he did, how do they manage to get away with this "krapp", i don't know....

  10. " the companies could hire foreigners at the ratio of one to every 100 Thai employees working at the company "

Four thais for every foreigners was obviously not enough,  for the time it will be officially approved will probably be changed into 1 foreigner allowed to work for every 70 millions thais residing into the country, providing that he has already got thai citizenship from at least 100 years before the time of applying for a job, well done Thailand, you never really cease to amazes me !   :cheesy: :WPFflags::clap2:

  11. Agree, some people will never learn, no matter what, i think the latest statement will also be proof that it's not only the locals which don't get that there are places where a vehicle must absolutely not be parked in, even if it's stationary, and if common sense it's not able to see that, perhaps a quick reviews of the text books from the driving's school should help.

Living in Thailand it's never boring, there is not a single day passing by,  where some differently intelligent driver doesn't park his car, motocy, whatever else, anywhere it could possibly physically stop.....unbelievable!

  12. Has anyone successfully converted a thai full driving license, into a Philippino one???

I am getting mixed information, someone said that you need to hold a Visa for the Philippines valid for at least 5 months, or it will be refused, while on their official website there is no mention of it at all.

Being part of the ASEAN, it should be a straight forward process, but i would like to hear from someone informed about the true facts...
