Any change in a program regards a buy in by the people being effected. The students, and the teachers don't seem to really understand what the goals should be.
Obiously the administration hasn't done their job, and I see nothing changing at the local level. To fast track I think some advisors outside Thailand
should be making recommendations. The problem is who should recommend these advisors. There are accepted practices for teaching and learning.
Some are better than others, but my experience indicates that the system has to be viable and modified to the Thai student. Don't buy into a system which
is superior because of the quality of teachers and resources that are available.

Finally starting to talk freight.

As a forester I have a hard time understanding the term, "Forest Reclamation." Forest Reclamation needs support by the community and its leaders.
Are they looking for a sustainable forest? Are they looking for a way to have a sustainable income for the politicians? There should be referendums in
the community to see if the community wants a "Forest." What does the community want out of that, "Forest." Without a proper base for the pyramid
it will always be unstable, and subject to abuse. The forest can bring income in many ways and form a base for the future of the community.

Would like to see more double adverse lanes on steeper hills

I think he was having a bad hair day. I honk my horn to make people aware.

Interesting that politicians can't tell the difference between rubber plantations and natural forests. Give me five minutes and they probably can.

Can not click into the system.

My last entry was 2014. I am in Chumphon and when I bring up the page it is not live, so can click into the system.

No matter how much land there is, there is a lot and it would be nice to have it either kept in forest, used for biomass or some other constructive use. Thailand has too much unproductive land.

Is not uncommon any where in the world. Problem generally is adequate follow up.

How many adults have meaning financial knowledge of how to sucessfully invest money? Who is going to guide the young people on what they should invest their money in? How many people involved in the financial scene
in Thailand put the education of the young people in financial matters before their own?

Good idea as long as they have the electrical power to support it. Clean, quiet, and efficient.

Glad to see that they know there is a problem. Changes are needed, but there has to be accountability, and monitoring and advice from outside of Thailand.
There are recognized experts in the field with a proven history. .

No problem AIS Chumphon. Call 1175 to confirm it is registered.

Is silly. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." How can one man say a lady is beautify or not. That is assuming you are better that anyone else, which, without knowing the guy, is up to queston.

File this post to look at next year.

Easy to say too much, which she will misunderstand and start making assumptions which will create problems. Just be honest, and answer questions as they arise.
The more you volunteer the better chance she will get confused. You are comfortable under present conditions.

Looking at building a house in Cha-Am in a few months. Anyone have any recommendations for a contractor?

Probably 20% of the students shouldn't be in normal school after the 6th grade. Should be in technical school or learning a trade. They waste their time, the teacher's time, and the quality of education in the class is lower.

True a lot of it could be used in compost, but in our area there isn't any garbage collection by the government. No education or enforcement by the government on what to do with it.

Another comment is that there has to be some streaming in
Thailand. There are a lot of smart kids that are being held back\
by there classmates who really shouldn't be in the same classroom.
They should be in Trade Program, supplemented by general math,
science, and Thai Language.
