  3. the dame is called Mae Ngat Somboon Chon Dam
  4. well stand corrected 'fake news spreader', of course Chiang Mai and other communities were informed at least one week prior to the release of water. Community Service announcements, TV, Press and local Tessabahns and volunteers delivering truckloads of sand and bags to key locations..do your homework next time.
  5. Thais love to gamble and not worry too much about consequences..however a desk audit out of the blue will certainly get their attention.
  6. inattentiveness, carelessness, negligence, dangerous and recklessness..then factor in intentional to each and you have a selfish, know-it-all driver = anything can happen at a moments notice.
  7. i daresay reverse DNA to confirm, which is the norm for multiple burn victims.
  8. Ghouls. Agreed, when you look at the CCTV there are no flames or explosion and in the zoomed in part you can see the bus lurch, stop and pale grey smoke starting to billow over the bus, which indicates to me extreme heat has generated from under the chassis area fanned by the forward movement of the bus, when stopped erupted into flame and fuelled by the insulation, wall and ceiling panels, seats, quickly got a hold and spread. You can see other ghoul-footage of the bus burning and the 'seat' of the fire is clearly discernible. The Road Transport and Fire Investigators will prove the origins of the fire.
  9. really...but you neglected to give a breakdown ..ie population, percentage who use public/private bus companies, full list of makers names, where the buses were assembled and licensed, how frequent maintenance is carried out, how often the licensing authorities inspect each bus, whether governors are fitted etc. etc.
  10. you have no idea what you're talking about..just look where the seat of the fire is and the convection heat happening..big words and forensic phraseology i know, but stop insinuating certain countries are worse than others..this can happen anywhere at any time..IMO the cause is not engine failure or a gas leak but the seizing up of the front left wheel bearing causing the bus to come to a grinding halt, smoke billowing then fire erupting..have a closer look at the CCTV footage. Totally unpreventable!!!! what!..these vehicle fires happen every day of the week with cars, trains, truck and buses. You should learn to button your lip until you are at least qualified to spread such irrelevant opinions. RIP to those poor children and adults involved.
  11. more than likely a left front wheel bearing that seized bringing the bus to a grinding halt with the heat intense enough to cause convection heat to ignite the buses interior..check out the CCTV of the bus passing the camera behind another bus from perhaps the same company..watch the smoke emanating as it came to a stop. RIP
  12. so, it has to be easier and less stressful to use the Agent who can 'arrange' for a hefty fee the letter saying you have the fictitious amount..yes? (Or was this only malicious hearsay)
  13. near me the same well dressed, well-nourished folk that buy a fistfull of lottery tickets twice a month were lining up at the ATMs, late model motor cys and cars everywhere..i thought LaLisa was in town!
  14. it really isnt fair is it?
  15. Ding..ding..ding...you know at Railways crossings..most Thais just drive round them and more than often get clobbered.
  16. how about 'boom gates' or allocate "idle traffic police" to each pedestrian crossing.
  17. i think 1,000 per day is quite the norm..just you don't get to hear about most.
