    points taken..i was being melodramatic..i realise tyres of rubber compound would deflect a bullet..he should have proceeded by Summons seeing as it was not a serious matter, after all he had the license plate, description of the thief matching that of the driver, plus his body-cam footage. Wonderful thing hindsight.

    TRD don't need to speak any foreign language to run all your Immigration/Passport/Bank Account details through their system. They know all about you already.

    as explained to me by TRD, proof of the payment of health insurance premium paid to whatever company in Thailand..not necessarily a Thai company. (In my case it was BUPA/AETNA now AllianzAyutthaya)...can claim up to 25,000THB of the Premium.

    as i was registering for my Tax ID the woman stressed that the TRD operate under 'the honour system'.

    they had his Passport for the Hospital admission..Next of Kin would be available.

    the Manifest is available to the relevant Police as soon as the plane lands..i have no idea..someone's not telling the full story here IMO.

    its called Protocol, to protect the pasenger and the threat of Terrorism..his name would appear on the Passenger Manifest and is the property of the Airline and only discussed with the relevant Police Force.
