I am learning from guys like you. It takes some time to acclimatize. Thankyou.

..i agree with you...its like being invited into the killing zone..so all they see is 'farang/white/farang/white'...it would be a great help if ALL pedestrian crossings had solar/battery flashing pedestrian signs too, as a lot of driver's/riders have no idea there is a crosswalk until they're right on it

Oh, this just gets more and more ridiculous. It really is beyond a joke now (forgive the pun!).

The way the Thai people are dismissively treated with utter and total contempt - laughed at, mocked, ridiculed, treated as congenital and insignificant fools and morons by their 'betters' - is just beyond all known societal experience by every single one of us here, I hazard to guess.

And yet  - still the Thais go on taking it all ...

..lots of door closing and opening..keeps us amused whilst waiting for our next 90day.

There's never a dull moment here is there? Still, the cops shouldn't have been so dumb as to parade through Walking street and say there was no evidence of prostitution, when everyone knows it is going on everywhere. Closing a bar for 5 years for " damaging the image of tourism in Pattaya and Thailand ", is a laugh too. Rest of the soi and most of town are doing exactly the same. Problem is of course, if they did really stamp it out, there would be even less people in town and Soi 6 would be renamed Soi Ghost Town.

..they were walking 4 abreast..how could you not trip over one.

It happens from time to time.....I won't eat anything that's been sitting out for more than a short time - maybe a piece of left over sourdough toast - but not like a main meal portion....

If I see something like that sitting out for awhile I stick it in the fridge.......Nobody's complained about that.....

There's 4 of us, so I think that someone made a mistake in leaving it out.....

...so how do the spirits and ghosts get to have a snack...their little fingers would snap off trying to open a fridge door.

Very sad to get news like this. There often seems to be a farang involved. Invariably it's the lady who slips, trips jumps or simply falls.

A 24 year old girl fell from the 18th floor of a block a while back. And she lived. Her hubby was Swedish.

..lucky to be alive falling from those heights..my granny died after hitting her head off the sofa. Her hubby was Australian.

You cannot find money if it is not lost, he knew where the money came from, I suppose it became lost to her when he put his foot on it.

..he didnt take it from her person of property..for all he knew it floated down from the checkout area..he assumed it was hers or the stores by putting his foot on it, which sealed his intent to hide it until she moved.

I am glad he had the decency to return the money, but feel he only did so from the shame produced by social media. Had it not been so well publicised, I suspect he would not have done so. We all make mistakes. The woman is satisfied, the cops seem to be letting it go. All that remains is for the TV punters to shred him a little more I guess.

I have nothing but praise for the Thai lady who has been very fair minded about the whole thing and more than gracious. I wish there were more like her. Her boyfriend seems to have picked a good one.

..well, the police have no case to investigate now, as he has three days in which to either hand in the money to police or return it to the owner, which it appears he has done..filed 'no action'.
