Falang ting tong!   Would love to be a fly on the wall as he sits in front of the BIB and the language thing.

I always ask for the exit seat to get some legroom, had I been on that flight, which I will be in 2 weeks from bkk-cnx, maybe this wouldnt have happened, esp on the last leg of 24+ hrs and 6 flights/ airports...

..well you would have had an extra few hours to stretch your legs before getting under way.

I know.  Old people tend not to think too much but they also get left behind.  I mentioned one of the worlds richest men who has access to very sensitive information being that he sends rockets to space (Elon Musk) having an opinion on the topic so hoping that those who can at least grasp what he's talking about can comment....seems your are bored tonight.  Go to sleep.  Sweet dreams!!

..hmmm...so a rich man in a rocket can get closer to the grand architect than me?

I get quoted less than half of my current premium on this site. Is it real?

...from what i have heard from several local Thais..they maybe about 60% less than other companies, but when it comes time for repairs some of the repairer's standards are definitely in question with poor workmanship, non-computer matched paints and extra charges being added on which the underwriter won't cover..so beware, make sure you get a copy and full explanation of the Assessor's quotation.

Marriage is very difficult. Even when you both are from the same country and speak the same language.

    It's especially difficult marrying cross-culture.

You're never going to understand everything, or maybe half of what goes on.

I'd say try and live together for a few years first before you decide that this life and this person is the one.

Be careful of your money and don't spend too much...keep most for a rainy day and if you have a house or property in another country don't sell it.

My wife and I have been together about 25 years and travelled and worked together on most of my projects. Presently retired an living in Isaan for the last 6 odd years. It's all good. emoji3.png

So many Thais haven't yet cottoned on to the fact that there is CCTV everywhere. Including boys in brown who have been caught in stores collecting their regular 'donations'. My favourite story from this site was the shop owner who installed CCTV in her clothing shop and it caught her stealing from a customer's bag while the customer was in a cubicle trying on a dress. Brilliant!

..just testing the camera perhaps..obviously the angle was perfect.
