  1. I don't make stuff up PARIS, Sept 14 (Reuters) - Vladimir Putin's chief envoy on Ukraine told the Russian leader as the war began that he had struck a provisional deal with Kyiv that would satisfy Russia's demand that Ukraine stay out of NATO, but Putin rejected it and pressed ahead with his military campaign, according to three people close to the Russian leadership. https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/exclusive-war-began-putin-rejected-ukraine-peace-deal-recommended-by-his-aide-2022-09-14/
  2. They maybe withdrawing troops but the fight goes on: Hamas regional commander killed in Israeli air strike, says IDF Adil Mismah, a regional commander of Hamas’s elite Nukhba forces, was killed on Monday by an Israeli air strike on the central city of Deir al-Balah, the IDF said. His killing came as Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari said that Israel's war in Gaza will continue throughout 2024, insisting that tens of thousands of reservists would be needed for the fighting. https://www.france24.com/en/middle-east/20240101-🔴-live-israel-begins-new-year-under-rocket-attack-as-army-pounds-gaza IDF troops continue operating in Gaza: 🔺ELIMINATED: Adil Mismah, the Nukhba Company Commander of Deir al-Balah who took part in Hamas’ October 7 invasion and massacre and attack on other communities surrounding Gaza. 🔺In Shejaiya, troops struck Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror targets used for conducting warfare and located large amounts of weapons. 🔺IDF troops destroyed a launch post and eliminated a terrorist cell that attacked our forces with mortar shells. 🔺IDF troops identified and eliminated a terrorist launching rockets in Khan Yunis. 🔺Overnight, IDF naval troops struck Hamas terror targets and continued to support IDF ground troops in Gaza.
  3. Why do you find that amusing? The war is only shifting down a gear in norther Gaza, its just mopping up there now. Israel steps up strikes in south Gaza overnight, residents say Israeli aircraft and tanks stepped up strikes in southern Gaza overnight, residents say, after it announced plans to pull back some troops, a move the US said signaled a gradual shift to lower intensity operations in the north of the enclave. Israel says the war in Gaza has many more months to go but would be shifting into a lower gear in the northern part of the Strip after three months of all-out war. https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/israel-steps-up-strikes-in-south-gaza-overnight-residents-say/
  4. Yep, that's what happens when you attempt to discredit my article links with deflection, enjoy your pizza.
  5. Yes I edited however it does not distract from the "On what planet do you thing I'm going to sit through over 2 hours of a foreign language vid" and the rules remain the same, this is an English language forum
  6. We don't know for certain that Boris scuppered a peace deal either. It works both ways if that's the way your going to play it.
  7. Sadly, that appears Zelenskiy was on the cusp of a peace deal in March 2022 and Boris was sent in to say don't take it we've got your back. You need to do some more research, 4 weeks into the illegal invasion Zelensky offered a peace deal, it was turned down by Putin Zelensky: We won't join NATO if that brings peace Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Tuesday he is prepared to pledge that Ukraine wouldn’t join NATO, in a bid to broker a peace deal with Russia https://nypost.com/2022/03/22/zelensky-we-wont-join-nato-if-that-brings-peace/
  8. Children make up 47 percent of Gaza's population, according to UNICEF, anyone 18 and under is classified as a child under UN classifications
  9. You rock on, I'll keep away from hateful antisemitism and stick within the forum rules: 15. You will not discriminate or post slurs, degrading or overly negative comments on the basis of race, gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, disability, medical history, marriage, civil partnership, pregnancy, maternity, paternity, gender identity, sexual orientation or any other irrelevant factor.
  10. You really don't need to be so explicit in your antisemitism.
  11. Why would I try and convince you of anything......lol
  12. Deflection from your claim and further unsubstantiated claims. You really don't have much to work with here aside from hyperbole
  13. Comparing Hamas a designated terrorist group with well deserved evidence to prove it and the IDF is not your finest hour
  14. Actually Israel wanted a ceasefire deal with Hamas for a hostage/prisoner sway but Hamas was the one that refused. You should keep up with events.
  15. No deal with Hamas, how does that relate to the below statement?
  16. Well considering your sickening accusation you made below I would expect no other reply from you "After the horror of the Holocaust, it's tragic to see the descendants of the victims's families doing the same thing in Gaza"
  17. Issued by South Africa, no surprise there, any country can refer a case to ICJ. The ICJ is not the ICC, its another UN branch with no teeth and countries tend to abide by its rulings on a case by case basis, there are no penalties that can be issued by the court if they fail to do so. That is how the US interprets each case ruling from the ICJ. A good example being the ICJ ruled that Russia should immediately end its hostilities in Ukraine; that war is getting ready to enter its second year. The UN security council could in theory enforce consequences but we've seen how that performs in this war and all others with the vetos allowed. Besides which the bar is high for a ruling of Genocide, intent needs to be found. This from over a month ago: South Africa's Government Is an Unapologetic, Shameless Proxy for Hamas and Iran A pornographic, sycophantic romance between government ministers and Hamas leaders, a warm embrace for Iran, explicit calls to attack Jews, our homes, our workplaces, our schools. We South African Jews wonder if our own government is inciting pogroms against us. Following the slaughter of more than 1,200 Israelis, most of them civilians, by Hamas terrorists, the kidnapping of 239 hostages into Gaza, and the onset of the latest Israel-Hamas war, there has been a sharp and frightening increase in antisemitic rhetoric and threatened violence around the world. But South African Jews are confronting a far more sinister and almost unique challenge: Our government has emerged as an unapologetic, shameless proxy for Hamas and Iran. https://archive.ph/QreGb https://www.haaretz.com/opinion/2023-11-16/ty-article-opinion/.premium/south-africas-government-is-an-unapologetic-shameless-proxy-for-hamas-and-iran/0000018b-d7d9-dffa-adef-f7d979970000
  18. So the crystal ball comes out now, this has not even been referred to the ICC
  19. plus the government seems to have given up on any hope of getting its hostages back What makes you think that?
  20. No its the law: Same quote used in legal article taken direct from source icrc below, that and all the other information that is contained in the link.: The principle of proportionality prohibits attacks against military objectives which are “expected to cause incidental loss of civilian life, injury to civilians, damage to civilian objects, or a combination thereof, which would be excessive in relation to the concrete and direct military advantage anticipated”. https://casebook.icrc.org/a_to_z/glossary/proportionality The proportionality rule requires those who plan a military operation to undertake in good faith a pre-attack analysis to determine the effects of the attack on civilians and civilian objects. Such a determination requires a balancing of probabilities that take in foreseeable collateral civilian casualties and the relative importance of a particular military target. This is a relational concept – in other words, it can’t be quantified by stating any fixed number of civilians dead or injured for any one attack. Is the rule of proportionality being observed in Gaza? In concrete terms, the rule of proportionality – and its associated precautionary measures – require that the Israeli military undertake, in good faith, a pre-attack analysis of likely civilian casualties ensuing from each and every aerial attack in Gaza. That analysis should be based on timely, reliable and constantly updated target intelligence. Israeli military spokesmen have stated repeatedly that they are taking all feasible measures to avoid excessive collateral damage in their bombing campaign. https://theconversation.com/what-is-the-rule-of-proportionality-and-is-it-being-observed-in-the-israeli-siege-of-gaza-217321
