  1. Siam Park, a fantastic place.

Yearly membership is 490B, one single entry 200B.

Small wonder we don't go anywhere else for holiday, entire Thailand put together can not offer more joy for kids than this place.

Bad point: food available for purchase sucks, bring your own.

I wrote about Siam Water Park back in August 2007.

Concur 100 percent on the Food :D:D:D:o:D

  2. Hello to everyone!!

I've just found this site and registered.....i guess my first query has to be,is it possible to live in thailand on the australian disability pension?.....i lead a fairly modest life, nothing too outrageous.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated

    David

Possible, may I ask how much is your Pension? Any family here? :o:D

  3. Three or four cold showers a day, 3 liters or more of cool water daily, a trip to a major shopping center(w/AC) might not be bad if not to crowd. Hang out at the Hotels' swimming pool. By all mean stay out of the sun as much as possible, heat stroke can strike without much warning. :o

  4. There are many nice Thai Girls around but the difficulties in meeting them is pure and simple most of them want NOTHING to do with a Farang. Yes speaking of the ones from well to do families, they desire to finish higher education, i.e., Oxford, Yale, and the likes, after education with status and class they mostly likely will marry someone that the mother and father approve of>>a guy from a well to do Thai or Chinese family. During my 16 plus years in the Kingdom I have attended nine wedding and without questions this was the case in all of them. Anyway just MY observation/thoughts, I am sure there are some that will date a farang and maybe even lead to love and a wedding, however; they are far and few between. Good Luck, hope you find TRUE love and happiness in whatever girl you choose. :o:D

  5. Yes I have many Thai Male friends, for me at first it was the language but as my time roll along I met manyThai men that spoke English, we have became good friends, three are bankers, one Insurance Agent, two doctors, four teachers, one lawyer, two food/fruit vendors, a Tailor, two nurses and even a policemen, two Pharmacist(brothers). Just last evening the wife and I were out to dinner and my friend the lawyer stop for a moment on his way out to say hi to us. :o:D:D
