No, it happens 24/7
going forward through site is faster than going backwards, using either browser backbutton or breadcrumbs navigation

Not that it will happen, but Anutin (MoH/BJT) is thought to be "next in line", assuming they opt for a "civilian".
Thought as much myself, which is why he is trying to get as much good facetime with Thai public over his handling of covid pandemic

This is just nonsensical. Seeing as they would have us believe that incubation times in ASQ can be upwards of 10 days, what does it prove that they all test negative? Surely they all need to be tested again in a weeks time to be sure?

Thanks have done that
More often than not bottom bar in Chrome states "waiting for optimale.thaivisa.com", and doesn't finish loading until done with that

It would help if you read the original article and not some garbage recycled one.

The reason none of the trial candidates vaccines detect reductions in serious outcomes such as hospitalization or death is because such events are extremely rare
QuoteHospital admissions and deaths from covid-19 are simply too uncommon in the population being studied for an effective vaccine to demonstrate statistically significant differences in a trial of 30 000 people. The same is true of its ability to save lives or prevent transmission: the trials are not designed to find out.

Something is definitely odd, and appears to be happening as the server queries the database for posts to build the initial html page then send it out to you (but apparently only happening for you).
I wonder it there's something up with your login profile.
A quick test: Sign OUT of your TV account, clear cache, then revisit forum.thaivisa.com and ...then see if, as a logged-out user, you still encounter the massive initial delay when requesting random forum posts or specific pages you are using as your test sample.
EDIT: Can you repost another INSPECT NETWORK Timeline and Waterfall screenshot, this time with the Debug Windows scrolled all the way to the top (showing the "?tab=comments" file, or whatever the first initial files that gets displayed and showing the huge delay). Thanks
Well that is bonkers!. You were right, if I sign out it is very quick, but every time I sign in it goes back to 25 secs+, even after clearing cookies, as soon as I sign in it slows down again

"No Foreigners Test Positive in Quarantine Facilities" - not very catchy is it?

...so what's the item right off the bat that are taking 24000ms to load?
I would suspect your DNS entries, *but* the IP address lookup should be cached in memory after the first page renders and subsequent fetch requests should reference the cached IP data.
Cloudflare often shows 504 errors, so not sure if it is my dns cache, I’ll flush it and see

Not slow for me. It seems your problem is not forum software related.
Perhaps a slow internet connection or a shortage of memory.
No, not a chance I'm afraid, 80 m/bit and imac 5K. I am in London though. Has been like this since relaunch

As title says, Internal links taking 60 seconds or more to load, forum is barely usable for me as it stands. Only way to go for ward is to start again from forum home in a new tab. Terrible

Isn't this lady half-thai, and has dual nationality, so would have gone to Thailand using her Thai passport.
Obviously for press purposes she is French and a dirty foreigner

She didn't catch it in quarantine, that much is obvious.
Have to disagree. It is far more obvious she caught it in quarantine, or at least while in Thailand, than here having an incubation time of 17-18 days plus

Unlike anywhere else in the world, Thailand covid cases seem to be much longer than the usual 4-5 days. So something does not add up, either testing is faulty *or* people are catching it inside Thailand, and because testing is mostly or solely done on those in quarantine, it is only finding positive case of those in quarantine, when it could easily be out in the general population.

> A 67-year-old Taiwanese man, who arrived on October 8 and went into quarantine at a Samut Prakan hotel. He was asymptomatic and tested positive on October 19.
> Two Thai male students (aged 24 and 27), who returned from Yemen on October 9. Both were found positive in Chon Buri state quarantine on October 20 without showing any symptoms.
They caught it in Thailand. Are they testing those in contact?
11 days, I don't think so

The only way Bangkok can protect itself from annual deluges is to widen or dredge much deeper, the Chao Phraya substantially as it flows through the city. The river is only 36ft deep I believe.

Per statista.com, Covid deaths to date:
China 4739
US 220,218
China is currently in the process of testing 9 million people in the city of Chengdao. The US still lacks sufficient tests, PPE, test processing capacity, etc.
https://www.statista.com/statistics/1104709/coronavirus-deaths-worldwide-per-million-inhabitants/
It could never happen though could it? Americans unlike the Chinese would never in a million years accept a perceived loss in their individual freedom. Restricting people as severely as China does would result in serious confrontations across the USA.
We are having similar problems in the UK, but thankfully our idiots don't have automatic weapons.

French Woman Contracted COVID after Quarantine
in Thailand News Headlines
Posted
Now being reported in that other paper, that she caught the virus in quarantine via infected food trays passed between rooms without sanitising.
Thailand has a statistically impossible amount of returnees in quarantine who always seem to have 10-12 days incubation time, this is probably why, they are catching it at ASQ hotels
