Have you tried registering with any of the Thai vaccine sites online ? You seem to be a bit late to the party, have you been hiding ? Why suddenly just a walkin no appointment ? Are you on overstay or something ? How old are you ? Just so many questions.

I'm maybe being overly optimistic but perhaps the vaccine effect is kicking in, the same as in UK, plenty of cases but less hospitalization & deaths, which is afterall the point of vaccination. I could be wrong, but I hope not.

Just read Sky News, it would appear that Thailand remains on the red list, although they have relaxed some requirements in other areas, don't think I'll be going home anytime soon ????

This whole thing is just farcical, they will be very lucky to have anything open by the years end, the new daily case rate here in Chonburi province hovers around the 1000 a day rate, 900 + here, 900+ there, 900+ everywhere, with a corresponding death rate, meanwhile they continue to hold super spreader events, thinly disguised as vaccination events. I despair I really do.

It's AZ, that apparently is the reccomended vaccine interval, although the hospital I went to has called people forward earlier than the date they were given, so ???????? Also, I tried to download the Mor Prom app on my Line thingy, that was bloody hard work, couldn't access it as I didn't have the 13 digit ID number and don't get it until I've had the 2nd jab. Oh well ????

I got my first jab on 09 Aug 21, not scheduled to get second one till 01 Nov 21, then have to wait 2 weeks for it to be fully effective, so if they start to open up I'll stay home but also won't be able to go to any restaurants until I have the 2nd one, buggar. ????

Well it seems that everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet here, I stopped doing tourist attractions about 14 years ago, then I began to concentrate purely & simply on the night life 100%. I had a whale of a time for a few years before retiring here just about 10 years ago when I slowed down considerably, I still live on the outskirts & enjoy the bars and restaurants out on the Darkside, the Mrs does the shopping in town & I order decent Western food from various outlets. Life couldn't really be much better. I feel so sorry for those that have lost their jobs, their businesses, homes, cars, savings and in some cases their lives, Pattaya is not a nice place to be right now, infact that applies to Thailand as a whole. Yes, things will eventually improve, but I don't see that happening much this side of Christmas, the faux government are fairly and squarely responsible for this debacle & the government stooge, namely the Pattaya mayor, doesn't help, he follows the government's stupidity by ordering the Chinese vaccines, now the Health Minister says everyone who received Sinovac or Sinopharm will get a booster shot, talk about false economy.......... Hopefully by the middle of next year things may have normalised, I certainly hope so, but by opening now they are just inviting a whole world of pain to visit them, and neither the Thai people or us deserve that, stay safe one and all, see you on the other side of this mess.

So to balance the storey, how much for a new number plate?

Teo's out on the Darkside, under the flyover on Soi Siam Country Club, burgers are pretty good, Beef, Chicken, Pork, all done various ways & most enjoyable ???????????? They also do a rather nice Pizza, which is what we were going to have tonight, with some Jalapeno poppers, unfortunately it's closed due to lack of staff, buggar, I hope it's not a trend.

Believe it or not when I 1st started with EOD we actually used a plunger device, these days they have another piece of kit which can handle about 6 separate jobs, the name escapes me at the moment, but I left the army in 1980 ish, so things have moved on ????
