    I need one of those like I need a hole in the head, I need 2 things when I go out, money and phone, anything else is surplus to requirement.

    Jomtien, Soi 5, used to make life as difficult as possible forcing many to use an agent, I have 2 bank accounts, one permanently has 800,000 baht in it, the other one has been used as my everyday account for normal living expenses, I also use an agent for all immigration issues. I havn't set foot in an immigration office for a fair few years now.

    Who writes this kkrapp ? The Thais are the worst drivers/riders in the world, go out for a 15 minute ride and see how many rule infractions you can spot.

    There used to be an upmarket helmet shop at the bottom of Soi Siam Country Club, as you turn into SSCC from the Sukhumvit road it was on the left, not sure if its still there though.

    Bring it on please, we could do with some rain to cool it all down, we've had far too much sun and heat for far too long, sometimes I long for the cold wet days of a summer in the UK LOL ????

    Times have changed a lot, 12 years ago I just walked into the local Kasikorn with 30,000 baht which I dropped on the counter and told them I wanted/needed to open an account, 30 minutes later I walked out with the job done.

    Ours ( Unimaster ) has a fine gauze mesh filter which I remove every now & then then rinse under a running tap, leave in the sun for 15 minutes to dry, and replace, the landlady has organised for the installers to come and service every 6 months or so, works for me ????
