Mobile Banking Apps Blocked on Outdated Devices Starting Feb 14
Still using my near new looking Note 20 Ultra 5g I bought in Sept 2020 and my 2017 Alienware 17R4 force updated to windows11 due to having a CPU that was right up to the cut off for normal installation. Both items still kick ass. The battery life on the Note is still 1.5 days, guess I got luck on that one. Just 'cause it's old.... hope all well with everyone!

The Worst Tourists in Thailand...
Maybe for Phuket and Pattaya, but here in Chiang Mai the party/playground scene has decreased over time. The number of lady bars and such is nothing like it was 15 yrs ago. Heck, I think both Spotlight a Gogo and Foxy Lady are even gone!

Blood pressure medication
So, I have have been using the medication below for over 8 years now (keeps me totally dialed in for BP). I had not too high, high blood pressure, when I read a medical report about a 600 subject test on using low doses of 3 common, off-patent, blood pressure control medicines (each does a different thing). The results were dramatic and repeated in tests more than once since the initial one. The reason you probably not heard of the cheap "Triple Pill" for BP is that there was no way for pharm companies to make a killing on it as you would just be re-packaging the off-patent medicines. Only recently has the US approved of a triple pill that uses 2 out of the 3 medicines I'm taking with the 3rd one being an analog (does the same thing) of my 3rd medicine but is still on patent. If your interested in reading: https://www.unsw.edu.au/newsroom/news/2018/08/innovative-triple-pill-significantly-lowers-blood-pressure--stud I can get the lowest full doses directly from my local Thai pharmacy and then pill cut them in half. Take 1x per day when getting my morning coffee down. Inexpensive and has worked for me. Also taking 5mg of generic Thai Cialis daily for BPH, seems to work just fine as long as I don't drink too much alcohol every day (a trigger for me). I have had no side noticeable affects whatsoever at these dosages. So far, I have not seen the single "triple pill" available in Thailand yet. I am not a doctor, please consult your doctor before taking any of the below medicines. telmisartan (20 mg), amlodipine (2.5 mg) chlorthalidone (12.5 mg) blood pressure Tadalafil 5mg for BPH

I am embarrassed to make this post, but the spouse put the wrong date on our house calendar for the 90 day reporting and now I'm almost 1 month late reporting. What are consequences of this late reporting? Thanks in advance everyone!

Thailand Rejects Starlink's 100% Ownership Proposal
It like a long time ago when the rural areas had a single phone booth in each village and cell phones came in before land lines could make it to each house.

Supreme Court Orders Thaksin to Pay 17.6-Billion-Baht Tax Bill
So, I remember looking at this year's ago when it surfaced. The law that the Shin family used was on the books for a time before their attorneys figured out how to use it for some major gains and tax savings. Nothing at the time was fishy, just big numbers. Sort of like Roth IRAs and Peter Thiel utilizing the little known or used self-directed rule where he had $5 billion in 2019 sitting in it, almost all gain, that will be tax free when he takes it out. All legit under the law.

I Can’t Believe Thailand Is STILL Obsessed With Masks
Hmm, have been traveling to Thailand since the early 90's and have lived here '04-'07 and now for the last 10yrs. Asians have been wearing masks way before COVID. If you had a cold or cough you would put one on as a courtesy to other people. This way if you coughed of sneezed, the vast majority of the aerosol was trapped in the mask. That is still the rule in our house.

Trumps polling#s
What difference does the polling make? He is not going to allow mid-term elections let alone 2028 general elections. He will get us into a war with Venezuela or Nigeria and use the war powers act to cancel elections. "Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia."

What is the greatest nonliving object you own?
Hmm, a material thing that I still own... Probably the pocket monthly calendars from when I was a seriously motivated rising young engineer in aerospace during the 80's. I had something going on every day of the week including the 3 weekdays of happy hrs after work (had killer free food), running 10k's on the weekends, 2x a day at the gym, picking up my date in one of the 1st 2nd gen RX7s in LA county, plays, concerts, etc... Was barely at my apt. at all. Although, now, it makes me tired just remembering 😉 One thing I did just sell recently that I miss was my tiny 2 bdrm bachelor pad in Port Hueneme CA. Had the most killer view! Sold because I could never see myself living back there especially with no 2nd/3rd story elevator as age sets in seriously.

U.S. Treasury proposes one dollar Trump coin
I have read through the docs the Democrats are looking to push through to open up the government. Once you go through the references and look at current law, it specifically says that legal immigrants are able to make use of ACA and Medicare, it specifically excludes allowing these programs to be available to illegal immigrants. Straight from Healthcare.gov "Undocumented immigrants can't get Marketplace health coverage. They may apply for coverage on behalf of documented individuals." The bold face lies that are now a daily event from this administration have become astounding.
