"It is a face massager on our popular selling website" Ya, had a Soi 6 girl use one to stimulate her cheeks. I asked her how it felt but all she could do was mumble as her mouth was full. It was a very stimulating and satisfying conversation. -

New travel rules: Thailand’s ETA to shake up visa-free visitors

Ya, into the economy but not directly into the tax coffers. If they would get their act together about taxing the Thai people on the income we are putting in, they could get the slice indirectly. -

Thanks for the quick response, Google search did come up with Villa Market but no shop in Chiang Mai, one in Udon Thani, but not here. Was trying to see if anyone stocking locally. Wife will have to see if can be shipped if no one knows of any local vendor for it. Thanks again!

Hi Guys, anyone know where in CM sells this? Wife was able to find a couple of bottles at a Japanese restaurant but would like to find it at a store. Restaurant sold it to her for 1250 baht but know there are stores in BKK selling it for about 800 baht-ish. As always, thank in advance!

Brace for a downpour: 42 provinces in for a wet and wild ride
DrPhibes replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Ya, the Ping river up here in Chiang Mai is the highest I've seen in many years. The train from BKK to CM stops south of here because of a land slide that took out the supporting land under the track. If Chiang Rai and we get any more heavy rain, going to have soggy knees me thinks. -
Don’t kill the golden goose! Tax reforms may drive away expats
DrPhibes replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Copy of a post I did in another group: So, a lot of this has to do with reporting and ability to enforce this potential new Thai tax situation for us as Thai tax residents. I am an American citizen. Thailand participates in FATCA Model 1 where Thailand reports my accounts in Thailand to the US but the US does not report accounts to Thailand. The US does not participate in CRS so no information to Thailand through that system. If Thailand wants a Tax Clearance letter from the US IRS, that only says I have filed my returns and that they are paid up. It offers no information about income, so nothing there. So, Thailand trying to find out what I have in the US is impossible at this point. Going forward, almost all money being brought into Thailand will be my Social Security for my wife and I (which is now being deposited into its own separate bank account) which is not taxable to Thailand according to the DTA. However, If they ask for my US income tax returns, I'm leaving. I only bring in what I need to live on and qualify for extensions (non-O based on marriage, so use that to live on after stamp), the rest stays in the US for investing and such. -
Baht's Biggest Surge Since 1998 Poses Risk to Tourism And Exports
DrPhibes replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Ya, Going in to BKK bank tomorrow to ask about USD account. Can we online both, deposit baht from baht account into USD account and exchange back over to baht account when the baht weakens. Save the wife from going to the bank and coming home with actual USD.
