Realistically speaking, do you think Trump will last till November?
DrPhibes replied to watthong's topic in Political Soapbox
Some support for ya: https://golf.com/lifestyle/celebrities/how-why-president-trump-cheats-golf-playing-tiger-woods/ People would play him just to see how he would cheat that time so they could tell the story. -
Unfortunately, the lines to anyone was about 25 people deep with every seat anywhere near the office taken up with people waiting so no real opportunity to ask anyone anything. Maybe your agent knows someone there. I'm actually looking to use an agent for the 1st time given the crowd I saw there and the one I saw at the airport facility Thurs when I was looking to pop in and get forms and ask if anything had changed but then just turned around, walked out.

Hi All, Looking for Thai language class recommendations. While I can hear some Thai, I would still be a beginner. Have several searches on AN but can't come up with anything in CM. I live out by Mae Chok Plaza btw. Thanks in advance!

No real need financially for her to work and it was more important for her to manage kids, maid, Thai stuff. She doesn't work, but does have a heck of a stimulating night job 😉

Man arrested for using Butter Bear profile to exploit children
DrPhibes replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I wouldn't say that. However, there is the law and then there is natural development. Over time and cultures, sexuality has been all over the map. In current African tribes, humans as young as six are allowed to have sex and are instructed by adults how to both give and receive sexual pleasure without any emotional/societal hang ups. Some tribes, the prospective groom has to have sex with one of his brides aunts to make sure he is good enough in bed. If the aunt determines he is not very good, the wedding does not proceed. The Himba tribe often share their wives with a house guest. Even in the US, age of consent was at one time rather low by today's standards. Heck, in the California 70's, the girls in my junior high were the sexually aggressive ones, and it was way more than I show you mine and you show me yours. In 1880 in the United States, the ages of consent were set at 10 or 12 in most states, with the exception of Delaware where it was 7. -

Also for the blood pressure regulation, blood pressure medications telmisartan (20 mg), amlodipine (2.5 mg) and chlorthalidone (12.5 mg). I get the lowest dosage of each which is 2x the above dosages and cut them in half.

Sorry for the delay, just arrived in the US for a family vacation. Apcalis and it's pretty cheap. I take 20mg and cut them into quarters.

Have been taking .5mg of the Thai Cialis for 4 years for BPH and the only side-effect is a noticeable (but not dramatic) uptick in Rosacea activity (known side affect), does help quite a bit. I am also taking what is now called the Triple Pill for low end high blood pressure but I buy the minimal doseage of the pills that make up the triple pill and cut them in half. Much cheaper at $0.45 USD per day. Dials me right in for BP a week after starting to take and keeps me there.

Thailand to tax residents’ foreign income irrespective of remittance
DrPhibes replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
And there was a US Enrolled agent tax preparer in Chiang Mai for about 10 yrs around 2006 until 2016 when he passed away. Spoke with him several times including the possibility of purchasing his business and how it works. It was 51% owned by his Thai partner in the business and a there were a few other simplistic hoops to jump through but no problem really. Moved my family to Chiang Mai in 2016 and reached out to buy his business only to find he had unexpectedly passed away not 4 months earlier and his partner just closed the business and let his clients go. Too bad, would have given me something to do waiting for the kids to get out of their US curriculum school given US citizens abroad get an extra 2 months to file. Too lazy to start from scratch to build up a Thai side of my practice 😉 -

Ya, just looked over the high dividend paying stocks on the SET. A good chunk of those have a dividend yields lower than CD rates and are not growth stocks by the look of their stock prices over the last 12 months. -
Please do not think that tax rate is the same as tax amount paid. His tax rate is lower but his tax amount paid is much higher due to his higher income. Amazing how the average man these days has no clue on even the most basic math concepts I learned in 3rd grade. I have been doing US income tax preparation as a business for the last 30 years after leaving a successful aerospace engineering position due to wanting more time to do other things. Time is the ultimate coinage.

Warren paid $24million in taxes between 2014 and 2018. A couple of the reasons his tax is so low is his wealth is in stock that does not pay dividends and has increased in value tremendously. He also is donating a good chunk of his wealth to charity each year which is a tax deduction on his US tax return. He has a lot of wealth but not that much income relative to his wealth. https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/warren-buffett-defends-propublica-tax-rate-berkshire-hathaway-stock-dvidends-2021-6-1030504042

New Tax Rules for Expats in Thailand Spark Concern
DrPhibes replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If you mean your US banks account ATM card being used overseas, I can see that. Citibank just changed their rules for check deposit. The check must match exactly the name on the account. So if my name is Joe Bob Briggs and I get a check written to J. Bob Briggs, they will not deposit the check. Also, to have Zelle deposits to my business account I actually have to reduce the security of my online access. Just nuts! -
