Ah yes , parents. I returned from Oz. after leaving home age 23 , traveled to many countries ,came home after nearly 2 years , walked in the door with mum and dad watching tv. I had a sitar I bought in Delhi , wearing an Afghan coat I got in Herat , long hair to my shoulders.....Mum said without taking her eyes of the telly ' I will get you some dinner after this ..' My father said mind how you shut the door the smoke will blow out of the fire I just lit . I put my sitar down and phoned a mate and we went to the pub.

A very good friend many years ago had his demons catch up with him , 4 of us went overland , 15 countries in 15 weeks to Australia 1970. Any problems on the way he kept his cool. I think you are right with Thais and rubbish.
