Reminded me. In 1963 I had a 200cc Ariel Colt. On the end of the handle bar next to the twist grip was a built in mirror. I went for my driving test and failed and was told on turning right I should look behind then if all clear move to the right, Saying I used my mirror was not good enough. Good little bike , cost me a fiver. Chap also had a 976cc V twin , I bought that off him , that was 10 bob.

In the mid '70s where I worked a lady told a story about her sister that worked in a hospital. The story was an old lady was admitted to hospital with her er , downstairs front toilet full of money , yup. Where I worked were about 5 girls who were sewing baby clothes. Next day I asked if there had been any change . That stopped the girls sewing for a couple of minutes.

You have reminded me of a golfing event a few years ago. Wife slices the ball , it goes over a fence and ends up in the rear of a cow. They walk over and hubby on seeing the ball up the cow's rear says ' That looks like yours ' I think an iron was wrapped round his neck shortly after.

Strange thing with me is sleep , seriously . Every evening I sit here and around 8pm I am watching a film. But at this time whatever the film I nod off, wife use to say ' Go bed ' , I tried this once then wide awake at midnight. Now when 8pm is getting near I have a cup of coffee and ciggy and sit outside . Don't remember being like this in England but that was nearly 20 years ago. The number of times I have been watching a film , woken up to find something else on.
