  1. Did they smoke? Were they overweight? Did they suffer from hypertension? Did their death certificate have cause of death as brain hemorrhage from cannabis consumption?
  2. Yes. Som tam poo pra ra is eaten all over Thailand because there are Issan people all over Thailand and it's not just those from Issan that eat it. Som tam thai I do like especially on a hot day (which is pretty much everyday) with a cold beer. Pla ra I don't eat. There are varying types of som tam but if it says papaya salad then it's som tam thai.
  3. You're paranioa and social issues have been diagnosed as a direct result of smoking dope then? Getting drunk on brandy is not a good thing for me so I don't drink brandy. Dope relaxes me and makes me feel happy so I like the occassional spliff. I don't drink brandy because I know my limits. I have a spliff because I like it. This should not make me a criminal. Different strokes for different folks as they say. .
  4. 14. I'm ok. LSD, magic mushies, speed, coke. I'm ok. Didn't abuse any of them but I regularly smoked dope. Not as much these days but I don't drink as much either. I think it's called getting older.
  5. I agree except for the alcohol bit. You can drink yourself to death. A mate commited suicide this way.
  6. Agree. The abuse or overuse of basically anything can be detrimental to ones health. As for what is and isn't a narcotic is debatable. These days it's more assiatiated with opiates, opioids and amphetamines.
  7. This is true but it's people who already have an existing mental health disease who are heavy users. It's nothing at all like meth that can cause mental health issues for all abusers having or not a pre-extisting mental health issue. For the vast majority of users it's simply not the case. Apart from this what exactly is frequent use. a joint a day? A few joints a week? Complete rubbish and just more demonising of dope from the bloke that said papaya leaf tea can cure cancer. https://www.thaipbsworld.com/deputy-pm-somsak-makes-false-claim-over-cancer-cure/
  8. The main application being facial recognition. Must keep track of the populace.
  9. Thailand is not electing a new senate. Looking at the headline you would think it's a national election. It's not but it should be. A select few are being selected. Of course 50 of Prayuts lackeys remain.
  10. This is Som tam Thai which is NOT a Thai staple. This is the som tam which is the staple. Issan som tam poo pla ra of course eaten with khoa neow. Something tells me if the true staple was entered once that 'lovely' aromo of pla ra perviated the room there would be no one left to judge the dishes. Below is one of my favourites. Red ant egg salad.
  11. ATM's aren't going to work if you are cardless. Many people are these days. ATM swallowed my card not that long ago and I just started using the cardless function which of course requires you to have internet to access the app. I did get a new card for this very reason.
  12. Not the point. What if it was two hours? 24 hrs? Payment needed urgently for for one thing or another? No internet then no payment. This is what happens when payment can only be used whith an internet connection. As for the 50 minutes this alone can equal a massive amount of lost revenue. It doesn't take that much brain power to work out the negatives of a totally cashless society.
  13. As long as you didn't mind losing your job for some. Proof of vaccination to fly. Demonisation if your weren't getting vaccinated. I guess it's sort of freedom of choice.
  14. Thailand: 10 million sought treatment for pollution-related illnesses in 2023 https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-68487230 Rather more than covid I reckon. p.s. no such thing as spring in the tropics.
  15. You have taken what @stoner posted completely out of context. Indeed it's a total misrepresentation.
  16. Not all companies have governments and mass media advertising their product and not only advertising but demonising those who don't want the product and even forcing people to take the product. If anything this sounds more along communist or authoritarian lines.
  17. Common sense. Stop it.
  18. Yep I'm coming from a position of not blindly following what big pharma, the CDC, governments, WHO and the access media tells me to believe. I'm glad I have this ability and sad that so many don't. The OP is alarmist nonsense that gets rolled out every now and again.
  19. Push, push , push the narrative. 2020 LOL.
  20. The thing about studies into this is and has been from the beginning who pays for them.
  21. I'm not that younger with a comorbidity. The 2 times I've had covid were not as bad as the couple of times I got the flu when I was younger. Bit like a heavy cold and I'm guessing most of us have had our fair share of them. As for a mask it's been well over two years. Jabs? No thanks.
  22. The thing with this virus is it's very, very good at spreading itself around. A person can be infected and not even know they it or have symptoms that are so mild that it's hardly noticed. Still able to spread the virus though. It's unstoppable just like the common cold and is with us for the foreseeable future. Jabs, masks, lockdowns whatever, it can't be stopped. Lost count of how many Omicron variants there have been and it's certain there'll be many more all of which for the overwhelmelming majority of poeople is a non-severe viral infection.
  23. Ah! Nice to see the old anti-vaxer rhetoric raise it's ugly head again. That was a big part of the get vaccinated or you're no good campaign. Not wanting to take the covid 'vaccine' does not make a person an anti-vaxer. Tetanus. I'll have and have had the jab. Rabbies. I'll have and have had the jabs. As for kids they should get their course of jabs apart from the mRNA jabs. I though will never have another mRNA jab for what is essentially a non-serious virul infection for the overwhelming % of the World's population from technology that has had no long term independent studies and has been shown to be able to cause serious side effects including death. Ok it might be rare by I'll never risk it again. I have no reason to.
  24. Rediculous anology. Not wearing a sealtbelt is in no way comparable to a contagious virus be it a seroius or non-serious virus.
