Move Forward party leader’s political future uncertain
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Grasping at straws. Seems he's pretty confident about this. Only problem is the stacked EC and Supreme Court if it gets that far. -
The UK does not recommend boosters for children. You do not need a medical degree or be a scientist to understand this. The UK as an example recommends over 75's and those at risk and in consultation with a doctor to be boosted. You do not need a medical degree or be a scientist to understand this. This is government advice. Government advice here is it's recommended to give children boosters. I disagree with the latter based on an educated opinion and not on a political move by a junta hanging on by a thread. Of course it's up to everyone how they form their opinions.

Delta was a different beast. It's now Omicron. Masks no point. Not even sure if they'll be enforcing them in schools. If they do they'll be down quick smart. Like last school year. Masks were basically off. Some wore them some didn't. No massive increases in deaths or hospitalisations. Same as after Songkran. A bit of a blip and that's was it. Govt. schools reopening might see another blip but it's Omicron. It's endemic and has been for quite some time. It's time to let go of your fears and get on with life.
-
Guess the difference is I educate myself looking at different views and current scientific and medical opinions and data. It's not difficult. Has anyone told you you have such a nice way of speaking. A real gentleman. As for jabs if you have or if you had a school age child you would have no idea whether or not to get them boosted? No one can be this ignorant more than 3 yrs on since the beginning of this.
-
Should children who are not at risk be boosted? Yes or No. That's the question. Prayut recommends it do you agree. Once again a very simple yes or no which seems to be quite a complex task for some people to complete.
-
No you never say anything directly. You imply, deflect, never answer direct questions or just post puerile comments like this "Let us know if she goes down with Covid, won't you......????" or negative emojis. I did not say science is better here. As I explained it was a question I put a . instead of a ?. The simplist of minds would deduce this. The story has Prayut recommending children get boosted. I have asked you do you agree with this? You haven't answered. And believe me if my daughter does get covid masks and jabs will have nothing to do with it. It's an aerosol virus that will spread. That's what it does. Everyone in China were wearing masks and basically the virus spread thoughout the entire country within weeks when the CCP lifted it's insane zero covid lockdowns. It's an endemic virus now which is non-fatal or severe to the majority of people.

You say the science is right in Thailand about boosting kids then you support jabbing the children. I don't. You post "Thailand is thinking about its children......????" in a post that states "The Prime Minister also urged the parents to take their children to receive a booster dose of vaccine." You also posted this low life post "Let us know if she goes down with Covid, won't you......????" Just a pitiful post. My daughter will not be jabbed again and for you almost hoping she gets Covid is abhorrent.
-
Maybe I'll just say it's time for some people to get a grasp on reality. I have never said that the vaccines haven't saved lives. Unfortunately due to limitations of free speech the opposite may not be uttered.
-
It was obviously a question. Please stop being obtuse. If you think jabbing kids is the right thing and this is based on science and Thailand has got it right and healthy young chilren should be vaccinated with a novel vaccine well that's your opinion. Fairly sure you would be in the minority though.
-
Diseases have been around for a long time. There are some pretty good time tested vaccines around none of which are mRNA vaccines. There's science and there's panic. The last 3 yrs seem to have been based on the latter. Guess I should include profit in the second one..
-
Indeed what? UK is right for stopping kids from being jabbed or Prayut is right for recommening boosters. Can't be both. Which one? Fairly sue you won't answer. Silly comment/deflection or silly emoji as usual.
-
I guess the UK is too. That's why they stopped recommending jabs for them. Maybe they are wrong. Maybe the science in Thailand is better.
-
If she get's Covid I am in no way concerned. Why should I be. Who knows she might get it and doesn't even know. Maybe no symptoms, maybe a runny nose, maybe a bit sick for a couple of days but she'll be fine. Like pretty much the rest of the 8,000,000,000 people in the world.

ASEAN Leaders Call for End to Hostilities in Myanmar
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Agree 100% And the world has turned it's back on them. An absolute disgrace. Happening in lots of places but as long as it's lives lost and not money or some percieved military stategic advantage then it will continue. Again shame. Shame on the useless ASEAN and shame on the entire greedy, self serving, power hungry govts. Rant is now finished. -
ASEAN Leaders Call for End to Hostilities in Myanmar
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
End hostilities started by a junta. Well easy. Army get out. Have free and fair elections as that's the only way it will stop. This is just tacit support for the coup. Look at SEA and tell me if there is one democratic country. This entire region is corrupt to the bone. -
My daughter will most definetely NOT be getting another jab. Complete nonsence. She's a healthy 13 year old. And please none of this but your daughter might get Covid at school and take it home with her. Yes, this is true but getting jabbed will not prevent this as this novel vaccine does not stop the spread of the virus.

Once again I forgot to source a worldometer graph. So I'll give it another go. Lets start with sourcing the graph . https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/thailand/ So yes there is an increase but it's certainly not remarkable. Interesting that countries like the UK and Australia are not recommending this course of action. Unfortunately I cannot say more about this as it is still a Taboo subject. By this I'm guessing it will be the useless temp. monitors for fevers which is one of the lesser symptoms of Omicron. Will schools be "screening" for these more common symptoms? Interestingly mask wearing is not mentioned. https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/omicron-symptoms-covid-what-to-know-rcna9469 https://joinzoe.com/learn/omicron-symptoms Sore throat Hoarse voice Cough Fatigue Nasal congestion Runny nose Headache Muscle aches Sneezing
