Thailand Overhauls Auto Tax to Boost Electric Vehicle Adoption
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Toyota says California-led EV mandates are ‘impossible’ as states fall short of goal DETROIT — Toyota Motor sounded the alarm Friday that California-led electric vehicle mandates that are set to start next year are “impossible” to meet and, if they’re not changed, will lead to less customer choice in several states. The EV mandates are part of CARB’s Advanced Clean Cars regulations that require 100% of new vehicle sales in the state of California to be zero-emission models by 2035. https://www.cnbc.com/2024/11/08/toyota-california-ev-mandates-impossible.html#:~:text=The EV mandates are part,zero-emission models by 2035.&text=J.D. Power said no states, mandate as of this year. -
Trump's already phoned Putin. The border will be shut down. Drilling will start. Prices will come down? Men will be banned from women's sports. Iran is or should be concerned that it's Trump now not Biden/Harris. Sanctuary cities will no longer exist. The EV mandate will be gone. I think most if not all of what Trump has promised to do will come to pass.

Canna-bust: British student’s drug-filled dreams go up in smoke

"UAE or Saudi Arabia or Turkey"? Sure not good but Singapore they shoot you. In transit is all it needs. -
It's going to be terrible. Wars might finish, prices might go down, food might get healthier, science might go back to doing what science does, censorship of free speech might be eliminated, men might no longer be allowed to play in women's sports, EV mandates might disappear even before they started, ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's going to be horrible. The orange man dictator is going to make things so much worse. I'm glad I don't live in the US. Imagine no illegal immigrants flooding across the border, no vicious gangs, murderers and rapists coming in, no sanctuary cities, a reduction in crime. OMG. A pure apocalypse of tyranny in anyone's terms.

Did it stop transmission like vaccines are meant to do? This is a Yes/No question. -

Vaccination did not stop contraction or transmission. I thought this is now widely accepted. -

Get jabbed or lose your job. Not much of a choice for people with families and mortgages for example. A teacher friend of mine in Thailand was told straight out if he didn't get jabbed he would be sacked. This happened in all western countries. Doctors, nurses, police, teachers etc. were threatened with the sack if they refused being jabbed. Sort of takes away choice somewhat don't you think. -

Many people had a choice between keeping their job or losing it. This was mandated vaccination. -

As I remember Singapore was developing a nasal spray. Big pharma moved in and made sure any competition went away. As for covid most evidence points towards it being a gain of function virus made in the Wuhan lab so no it's not a disease. As for a pandemic that it was. It spread around the world rapidly thanks to China and the WHO. -

This is in relation to Vioxx. By August 2005, 13,000 class action lawsuits had been filed against Merck. By November 2007, Merck had created a settlement fund of $4.85 billion USD, the largest ever in US history at the time. Merck agreed to compensate victims in exchange for a no-fault agreement – specifically, no legal admission of fault. Yet payment of $4.85 billion USD in compensation to claimants could clearly be interpreted as an admission of fault.25,26 When the Vioxx scandal broke, Merck had a capital market value of between $40 and $50 billion USD. Despite the greatest drug scandal in the world, enormous fines and atrocious damage to image, Merck has continued to grow in the last 2 decades and has increased its value six-fold to over $300 billion USD. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/09246479241292008 -

Agree. It's interesting how the anti MAGA posters on here have been calling Trump Hitler, a fascist and a dictator yet people were forced, duped or coerced into taking an experimental drug, forced to lockdown and forced to wear masks. When it comes to dictatorial behaviour I think these examples fit within the definition. -

Ah! Please. If your anti-mRNA jabs you must be anti vax. That's what the sheep of this world believe that's for sure. As for anti-mandate it's incredible that healthy young people were forced to take a jab or two. I recommend having a look at the above paper I linked. It's very interesting. -

I suggest you read my above attached link. Your view here is based on exactly what RFK Jnr. questions. Scientific accuracy and accountability, Big Pharma influence and the narrative pushed by the legacy media the latter which has been well exposed in the US election as completely biased.- 105 replies

This is the typical left wing spin. "The dangers............. ." Nothing about potential benefits. Just fear mongering. Big Pharma and Big Food needs to be brought under control. Hopefully a thorough investigation of the last four years will be opened with ALL documentation from big pharma subpoenaed. RFK Jnr. is IMO the man who can take science back to where it belongs and that's not in the pockets of vested interests or making highly addictive and unhealthy manufactured food.- 105 replies

Ah! Who cares. Didn't work for Clinton and hasn't worked for Harris. Trump sweeps ALL 7 swing states, the blue wall is red and he finishes with 312 electoral votes and the popular vote. An absolute and indisputable thumping. >$1,000,000,000 Harris flushed down the drain and it seems a some of it into some already deep pockets.- 90 replies
