Is this Buddhism that prevents them from serving justice? I guess they're going to just shrug their shoulders when it kills again in its new home?
Come to think of it this is the same attitude they have towards driving. "It's obviously dangerous but oh well what can we do" attitude.
There's a little row of bars that have some really sleazy looking young girls near where I live and I pass by cycling often in the evening when they open up. I don't think they're Thai even, seems like Burmese meant for the local guys. I'm sure there's loads of these in various areas more in the actual city but this is the only place that comes to mind. Doesn't interest me but maybe this is some guys style.

I think it's objectively true that most restaurants that are even big enough to have staff take orders are not going to communicate much if it all when taking orders. Maybe in expensive restaurants in the city it's different but the norm is the girl walks up, says nothing and writes down what you say and maybe even says nothing and walks away. That's just how they are.
I actually find it more annoying in America now where they the staff talks so much and comes to the table and asks questions. Honestly they're too trying to hard to be friendly. I guess I appreciate the effort but it gets annoying.
like you said because he wanted to look like a badass with a chain leash and clip their ears so they look menacing etc... In another world where pitfalls had normal owners MAYBE I could get being these things but as it is the combination and genetically aggressive dog and douchebag tough guy means these things should be banned.
Damn. I never saw that myself but the US is a big country so anything could happen. That guy looks like he knows better. I bet it was his wives idea. "Oh a pittie they're so misunderstood" etc...
Probably driving on the wrong side of the road around curves, going too fast, overtaking, undertaking etc... another totally avoidable incident and of course nothing will be learned as usual.
I'm in America now for another week. When I arrived at the airport a taxi picks me up and the driver is from Kenya (haven't seen a white taxi driver in years and this is Colorado!). We get to talking and I ask about his visa, his reply "I am citizen". Apparently been here 20 years. Goes on to talk about his love for the motherland. Go figure.
It's 2024. Being an American means absolutely nothing anymore. Literally anyone from anywhere in the world for any reason can come here and get citizenship. Just imagine if these millions of immigrants from all over the world get passports and start traveling.
I appreciate the Thais old-timey blood and soil nationalism. So many people in our countries don't even care they're becoming a minority in city after city and in fact celebrate the "diversity". Civilizational losers with no future. Meanwhile the Thais actually care about surviving and thriving so I support them 100%.
Sorry I missed it and it and it just popped up on YouTube. The comments were the important part anyways. Warms the heart to know the Thais are against the Chinese too. 😂
I'd say so. I'm particularly afraid of Basketball Americans when they get angry driving. Even though Thais are more dangerous they will very rarely exit their car to start fights. There's entire road rage channels on YouTube with nothing but fights breaking out over driving which is commonplace in Thailand.
