I didn't get my wife to send me the story but last month near our house some kid on a motorbike got clipped by trailer and was dragged a distance until his death. More years back up the road a few k another kid had the same thing happen but lost his head. These things happen but no one here learns so things go back to normal and unless you were told it may seem safe.

When the common man figures out he can't simply send his kid to school to learn reading and math but instead get propagandized he's going to be pissed. I used to think the Germans lost their minds for no reason but you see this whole process happening in slow motion now.

you're shilling so hard for government and corporations but do ever stop to think about the people being affected? all of these magic economic units you're importing go and live in established communities and impact them. When they push back you call them far-right, racists etc... No one wants this except for out of touch wealthy white liberals, big business and governments. The left has lost their minds on this. The amount of India CEO's and politicians is alarming to me and I'm not sure what's happening there. My boss is in fact Indian (good guy) and I appreciate that but these people need to not be in their own countries. This brain drain of upper class Indians in to the West is worse for India then it is for us. Besides that this is obviously a misdirection. If immigration was compromised of the upper class from India and was minimal none of this would be an issue. The problem is twofold, 1 the sheet numbers and 2 the quality of the people. Btw, how are living in Thailand and not seeing the problem with this kind of immigration? What do think would happen to Thailand if they allowed massive immigration every year and allowed to them to compete with the Thai's and change the fabric of the society? You wouldn't approve of that would you? American went from being a 90% white country in 1960 (the founding stock which had well settled the country) to nearly 50% today. This is a replacement of the population and radical transformation. No sane country that cared about its people would ever allow this.

This all depends on the people. I never said I'm anti-European immigration, just anti 3rd world immigration. Bringing your 70 year old dad to some country with free healthcare is going to be a burden obviously. This does in fact happen and can start by simple things like admitting a student. This is tragic though because it means rules and safety are secondary. Worse yet it enables the underclass to behave poorly as they may get compensated. Once again they get what they deserve.

You obviously never bother to research anything about immigration in the US. First of all most immigrants are just peoples family. Not even young people jus their families. Hispanics start out at the bottom and stay there. We have decades of data on this. Hispanics ARE the new peasant class in America. They are ~15% but dominate low wage labor. They will not get educated out of this. This is on top of the white underclass. 100% imported poverty.

You don't understand that not all people are equal. You're replacing the American population with 3rd world peasants. We're not getting the best and brightest, just sucking up the world's poor and their extended families (every student or work visa holder can bring their aging family too remember). Even with the best and brightest you're treating your country like an economic zone. You of course wouldn't propose this for Thailand because you understand their culture is valuable and not worth ruining over some short term economic growth. What you're proposing is a ponzy scheme which when it collapses leaves you with the same demographics are Brazil. If you want immigration make ethnic quotas and actually set the bar high, the opposite of what the US does now.

Importing a new peasant class is the worst kind of short term thinking. Those people get old and their kids revert to the mean of their home countries. I appreciate the hard working Mexican builder but it's not worth the burden. They should be building their own country anyways and we should have our people doing that work like they used to.

Google for "dutch study on impact of immigration". In America they intentionally don't release all government stats by race but you can deduce it using fuzzy numbers. I don't keep lists of things but I've seen similar stories for Muslims and Africans in the UK and Germany. Devastating numbers. Also go to http://greatschools.org in the US and find literally any school and check the racial breakdown. The ranking are always the same, Asian, White, Hispanic then Black. In my home state of CO I can name a number of schools in home town that are failing due to Hispanic immigration. Obviously this true. If 3rd world immigrants are valuable why aren't their home countries more prosperous? Is it surprising Hispanics from violent countries like Honduras commit more crime than Europeans? Why would that change when you bring them somewhere new?

People seriously think you can import poverty from the 3rd world and improve the economy? If that was true their home countries would be proof of their success. Then refute my point. If GDP growth is desirable in and of itself then explain why mass importing the 3rd world isn't a good idea. India has a GDP of 3 trillion which could be absorbed in to the US. That's a big number and big numbers are good right?

There's so many U-turns here I don't blame people sometimes when they go some small distance against traffic on a motorbike but what gets me is how fast they still insist on driving. This 26 year old in Korat gets destroyed doing this and serves as a warning. Even while driving the wrong direction this could have easily been avoided if he was going slow enough. Shows a total disregard for the other drivers also which have to encounter people like this. Police of course are no where to be found until they need to scrap your body off the road. RIP I guess.

I wish 7-11 here had more fast food like in America, like hotdogs, nachos, pizza and donuts. yeah it's junk food but it's still nice to get every so often and while on the road.

running AC at 22 in a bedroom for 8 hours a night is not expensive (unless you're in some ripoff condo perhaps). Something like 1100 baht a month. If that helps you sleep then it's totally worth it.
