I don't know why you would need to be in usa to file the K1.  It is mailed to Texas but you can do that from Thailand. 

One difference is that the affidavit of support for the K1 is not legally binding like the one for the CR1 is.  

I have heard some have waited 2 years to get a green card after applying for change if status on a K1 visa in salt lake city.  Work permit and travel permit (sometimes called combo card) takes 8 months.   Before this card travel will void the K1 visa.   But I think travel to mexico and canada is ok.  There are no exceptions.  So if family member gets I'll this may be a real bad thing.   

Under normal times the CR1 was taking like 15-18 months and K1 8-9.  But last administration had put a hall unofficially to K1 except for military and CR1 started processing at BKK embassy after the covid shutdown.  10 months of cases sat in Virginia until the old embassador resigned in Jan. Usually it's a 2 week step in Virginia. 

She is at 38,000'  3 hours away from Seattle.   After 15 months apart.   

Have you considered a B2 tourist visa?  Good for 10 years 6 months at a stay. 

Are you looking at the number on the form that they got at the bank when they paid?

I think that samui guy was a teacher nit in tourist industry unless we are thinking of different blokes.  A school director near Udon thanni was offered the vaccine a month ago but declined.  It was mistake to nit do health care workers first.  Before cabinet members.

If your ok in Thailand it would be best to marry then apply for CR1 visa.  It takes longer than the ,k1 but they arrive with green card and work visa and can travel immediately.

Fiance got test without booked flight.  They did ask and she was able to show them a couple proposed flights.  Test at Dr donna clinic soi 49 see other thread about covid test sites.  2600 baht take by 9am results emailed by 6 pm.  Must book online.  

I guess at med consult if your covid test is for flying they ask fiancee, then tests taken 8-9 am. And results ready by 9 pm.    Do thai people communicate?

Delta is also needing fit to fly certificate?   According to fiancee calling Delta but I didn't see that on Delta website. 

Why is it so hard to convince fiancee that DR Donna covid-19 test is acceptable to fly.   I guess not on list of hospitals she got visa n her FB page?  Or because thai woman listens to buffalo before farang fiancee?

I do wonder what exposure us required?   Did the woman just leave virus in the air?  Did she and mom touch some same surface in the kitchen?  Some things just scientifically hard to even replicate in a laboratory test.   Can't really do tests with real humans with a potentially deadly virus.  Plus how would you control subjects before and after a test to know where they caught the virus from.   

How could they afford a year in jail for everyone?   The example was set by the cabinet members.    I don't understand why at this point the HCW are not using proper PPE for all patients?    Just assume all person's are positive.

I'm pretty sure the police didn't need to tip off the street.  After seeing the video on tv and blow up on social media what old dinosaur thinks the police need a brownie for the workers and street to close.  Obviously many of you old farts don't know how interconnected and real time people are with social media these days. 

Look how a few fun nights in the bars  in thonglor have exploded the case numbers country wide.   I said shut down songkran.  It was obvious to me the Tuesday before travel was allowed. 70,000/50 days = 511,000/year. 

146 million fir 2 doses each.  = 285 years.   30 years would only give 15 million shots.   Check your math and comma locations. 

I'm sure this sort of free travel on government aircraft is the norm all the way to the top.  These pilots may get in real trouble.  More so because the bosses above may need to be more careful from now on.

In simple terms I want foreigners money or I am beholden to all my rich friends who own Phuket tourist hotels and I don't care about old people.  In fact it will leave more money in the pot to divy up if we don't need to pay so many old age pensions. 

I heard that the pfizer and moderna actually have more blood clots per million people by a factor of 4 or more vs J&J.

One theory on blood clots is they are not pulling back on the needle to check to see if they are in a vein so some people are getting injected partly intravenous. 

 I signed up for the moderna but got the JJ 6 weeks ago tomorrow.  I have mixed feelings as it is showing 70% effective rather than 95%  for Pfizer. But I guess all the top 3 prevent death.  But I still worry a 30% of getting the virus and the long term damage some doctors are finding.  

I feel confident in the progress of genetic science and understand enough to think mRNA technology is sound.
