If it’s any use when I did the old COE it had to be to the end of my visa, so I’d get the 30 days if I were you. Plus the company I went with only issued them in blocks of 30 days. I couldn’t have got two weeks cover.

I came back about 3 weeks ago under the previous requirement. I was stamped in until the end of my extension next August but insurance only valid till mid Dec this year.
So, you only purchased two months’ insurance but staying for 10 months? If so, I guess I could do the same (see my previous post). Thanks.

This is all very confusing. I’ll get an extension until December 31st, 2022 in December. I’m going to the UK from December 15th until March 2nd, so I guess I’ll need 10 months’ cover of some kind. That could be expensive.

Maybe, but, “Thailand number one!”

Oh, I see. It’s now ‘dust’ caused by a cold front stopping over the north of until December (which is rubbish as weather fronts rarely stop for more than a few days) and Diesel engines, and is not related to the irresponsible behaviour of farmers burning crop stubble.
Every year a new excuse, and nothing being done to prevent it.

Probably after searching and seeing hoops and visa laws , they decide against it !
Spot on. I was just about to post the same thing.

If an insurance company refuses to pay out for a claim, which is not exactly unknown, and someone says or writes in public "I am still waiting for The Such N Such Insurance Company to pay out for my claim", or "The Such N Such Insurance Company have informed me they have rejected my claim", how is that defamation?
It is not as if they have accused them of cheating, or warning anyone not to deal with them. So I ask again, how is that defamation?
I don’t know and it shouldn’t be. I guess just mentioning the name is defamation of some kind. Totally ridiculous.

This is where the defamation law stinks. We should be entitled to know the name of the company/companies involved so that we can avoid them. More people will potentially be scammed due to this ridiculous law.

I will have my 2nd Astra vaccine on 24th.
Which app is it?
Mor Chana or Ministry of Public Health.
Those 2 come up on Play Store.
Search for “mor phrom”. That should locate it.

Is it which country you come from , or which country you are a citizen and hold a passport?
Both me and the wife are US citizens and have American passports, and we are in Thailand right now but we would like to go to Greece , and I am not sure if Greece is going to be in the list. So the question is : if I comeback from Greece with my American passport will I have to quarantine?
The UK system is based on where you’ve been recently, not your nationality. So I guess Thailand’s system would be based on the same logic, but I don’t know for sure. My guess is you’d need to do some kind of quarantine if coming from a country not on the list.

Does that mean non-Thais can stop wearing masks, and go back to normal?

I am wondering about this as well, the paper certificate we were given meets all the requirements and therefore should, theoretically, be accepted.
Have you seen the USA one it's even easier to forge, and thats accepted.
I haven’t seen the US version, but I think I’ll get a ‘Vaccine Passport’ anyway, just for peace of mind.

I wonder if they’ll accept the electronic certificate on the Mor Phrom app. It’s in English (and Thai) and contains all the information they require. My paper certificate from the hospital is printed in black and white and could easily be forged. I guess maybe will have to get a yellow ‘vaccine passport’.

The future is electric: your questions about EVs answered
in Thailand News
Posted
Hydrogen fuel cells (HFC) are the future. EVs will die out slowly as the infrastructure is too great and complicated to support it. Imagine, in the UK for example, where street parking is very common; how can you have a charger in place for every car on the street? It’s nigh on impossible. And used batteries are hardly ‘green’. Toyota are investing massively in HFC technology and is also the main reason why Honda are pulling out of F1; to focus on HFC development. They’re doing it for a reason. Plus, current fuel stations can easily be converted to provide hydrogen.
