Obviously you didn't make it clear what you meant. In future mind you words and you would not be mistaken
Judging by the reactions to it many others seemed to know what I meant.

I think "cannot " isn't quite right. In your home country It's for free, but you insist to have a proper vaccination in Thailand, won't you?
Flight to EU isn't expensive and a Johnson once off jab available.
Why not fancy that? ????
That's a bit of an unprovoked attack. I was merely saying that another poster indicated that those who didn't want a vaccine should just get on with it. I don't 'expect' anything here, even after 29 years. That said, I've had my first shot of AZ and my second is due in two weeks' time. My post was aimed at those, particularly Thais, who desperately want to get vaccinated but can't due to various factors. So, I suggest you read things more carefully before attacking people next time and stop making wild assumptions.

What about those who choose to be but cannot get one?

How much is your lawyer charging you for telling a lot of untruth????? Why do you need a lawyer to obtain PR???? Why do you use '' normal " extension as the " under investigation " one is automatically renewed and free of charge every 6 months ?????
The first question is none of your business. And while on the subject please provide evidence that she’s being untruthful.
I didn’t necessarily ‘need’ a lawyer, but as a full-time employee time wasn’t really on my side to do all the running around necessary, so it was the best option for me.
I continue to use my ‘normal’ (employment) extension as that gets done automatically (not paid for by me) and I saw no need to have double stamps using up additional pages in my passport.-

My lawyer has told me I must show a WP when my PR is approved. But she also said it doesn’t have to be the one I applied with as I’m applying based on work in general, and not a particular company. I think the OP will need to ask immigration (or someone equally as qualified) directly.
I did also get one stamp in my passport saying that PR was under consideration but that stopped as I use my normal visa extension to remain.
I too may lose my job in December so it’s a bit of a worry. -

I'm in exactly the same position as the OP, and with the same timeline. My lawyer told me you must have a work permit to pick up the PR, but not necessarily the work permit you applied with. So if you were to lose your job, and then find another, that would be OK, as we're applying under the work category and not a specific employer, which does make some sense.
She also said that she thought the approval will be around March/April of next year.

Again, the government ignore the advice of doctors and purchase the goods from those providing the fattest brown envelopes, I suspect.

I think your best bet is to keep checking the thailandintervac site everyday until new openings come up.
This is good advice. I just kept on trying on the Thailand Intervac site and an appointment date appeared while I was looking at the screen, after seeing no dates available up until 2023. It was just pure luck. I'm just under 60, but have a pre-existing condition.

what was the cost, if any, for those jib jabs?
It was free.

I had my first jab of AstraZeneca there on June 24th. It was very efficient and with plenty of social distancing in place. I was in and out in about 1½ hours. The second jab was scheduled for 12 weeks later. All the staff had a pretty good grasp of English. I recommend it.

I had a credit card with HSBC when they pulled out and it was transferred to Krung Sri (formerly Bank of Ayutthaya). Everything remained the same including the card number, just a different name on the card.

I arrived in February and had two litres of (well wrapped up) booze in my checked bag. No issue this end. Worst case scenario is they confiscate it, or even give it back after quarantine.

Perhaps it just wanted to watch Nellyvision.
