The electoral college basically just follow the will of the people, as is their role. If they chose to ignore the votes and just select who they want, there would be very justified consequences. I know you far-left types don't believe that people should be able to choose who they want to be their president, but you haven't achieved your communist dystopia quite yet.

Not really, as they don't pick his pocket. It's more of a theft by distraction. -

Does anyone know what they actually did? Is it a Ponzi scheme type of thing? You keep hearing about people losing a load of money through investment scams, is this one of those? -
Thai father’s plea to find missing daughter and 262,000 baht

I'm not sure whether this is a sign of a kind of sweet innocence, hopeless naivety, or simply not really caring about a child's welfare. It seems like the kind of thing that someone should probably be suspicious of, but this is Thailand. Apparently it's not unusual for a minor at school to be dating an adult man. -
Thailand Probes Thaksin's Alleged Political Manipulation
BangkokReady replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Especially as he's been doing this since he was first removed from power. It seems like he must have upset someone, since he clearly had a deal to return. He must have also needed to control his political party as a key part of that deal also. -

It's more like, those without a brain (nor a conscience) have a list of lies that reassure them, which they repeat to others in the hope that they can fool them. Old? Sure. Fruitcake? No, that was the other one. Dictator? Not if he's democratically elected. The funny thing is, the Dems are the ones that seem to be the most keen to abuse the legal/political system in order to control how the American public vote...

Saying that, it must have been some pretty low IQ individuals that thought Hillary Clinton was the "good guy" they needed to stop Trump... 😬

It's got to be higher than when they elected a sleazy, corrupt old man with dementia, simply because he wasn't Donald Trump.
