  1. While it doesn't justify his behaviour, you'd have to be a little naïve to take the view of "I was simply making a recording of the violent and aggressive man breaking the law which could later be used as evidence to assist in him facing legal consequences", without realising that this is very likely going to further aggravate him. It's a nice thing to do (although it might be more about social media attention these days), but it obviously comes with risks. you're essentially intervening in whatever the person is doing by filming them.
  2. I'm just explaining how it works since you don't seem to be able to understand it. I'm not regurgitating anything. 🤷‍♂️
  3. He was probably duped. So he is correctly indebted, but someone tricked him into signing something. Not a lot you can do unless you can prove it was fraud or something.
  4. I don't think anyone seriously listens to vegans. Generally veganism is very unhealthy and vegans often look very sickly. You simply can't get the right sort of proteins without meat. Vegan food is a "once in a while because you've been eating a load of fast food lately and feel guilty so you want to eat just some healthy veg for a couple of days" kind of thing.
  5. They were pretty unpleasant to foreigners during covid, started clamping down on foreigners post-covid, and they've had a recent "foreigners bad" campaign running as well. I'm sure it's meant to be simple optics to prevent a loss of face or distract from something, but it's hardly surprising that foreigners might begin to change how they feel.
  6. The UK police are major arse coverers. Anything domestic and they send multiple units. They don't even need a complaint to be made like with a regular assault.
  7. Bingo! His answer seemed a little too helpful. Almost like the OP had been written to give him a chance to shine.
  8. Well, they are targeting foreigners for immigration offences. Presumably there will be blatant and unavoidable racial profiling by intent. They couldn't really do it any other way. It's all a bit "papers please", but you can see the logic behind the location of choice.
  9. Let's address just a couple of these. What they say: Minors cannot consent What they mean: We as a society have decided that adolescents under a certain age should not be allowed to have sex as they are considered too young to make an informed decision about something that can be harmful to them. What they say: sex always harm the minor [not that they do say that]. What they mean: Having sex is very likely to cause either physical or mental harm to an adolescent below a certain age, due to what having sex does to the body and the mind, particularly where the other person is older. What actually happens: Most of the time, age of consent laws protect adolescents from older people who want to exploit them for sex.
  10. Seems like more details on the transmissibility than the symptoms. You might say the description of the symptoms is kind of vague. I wonder why... 🤔
  11. Probably wishful thinking. If all Thai girls are the victim of abuse from a young age, then what he does (or wants to do) carries less guilt for him.
  12. I don't agree. If a 15 year old girl knows how to have sex, understands what it is, feels like it's OK and says she has no problem with being a prositute, it's still illegal. Besides, the girls in this case are being forced into doing it
  13. Can't help wondering if this is fake. Also that someone who actually replied above is the one who wrote it. 🤔
  14. It's shocking enough that this needs to be pointed out, even more shocking that someone would disagree with this statement. 1, The girls are not old enough to consent, so what they "know" doesn't matter and, 2, just because someone is mentally aware of what they are doing, doesn't mean they are in a position to make a rational choice that does not harm them. That's what the "age of consent" is for, because even if they're willing we say they are not allowed for their own protection.
  15. The point is that this is predators exploiting desperate young people who wanted to help their sick relatives. They first get them to take out loans with insane daily interest, that they can likely never pay off (presumably they lied or misled them about this), then they say the only way out is to work off the debt as prostitutes. It's essentially slavery. They're basically vulnerable young people being exploited and forced into prostitution against their will. This isn't some girl who could work in a factory or a 7-11 and get by, but chooses to work in Pattaya so she can party and buy nice things.
  16. "Thai people are just so kind and lovely. Not like people back home."
  17. It's not like it unaffordable, but it's the principle.
  18. I guess we know where Margaret Thatcher's ghost went... 😬
  19. That's simply your opinion. Another opinion is that they view these people as women and they are therefore not gay.
  20. If it is evident, where is the evidence? Sounds like he just lost his sh*t when his mates started to tease him.
