Democracy is Failing the Young – No Wonder They Want Change
BangkokReady replied to Social Media's topic in World News
It's really moving towards only having a choice between the "evil right" (who only care about the business elite), and the "evil left" (who only care about minorities)... The average working man really has no one looking out for him.- 105 replies

Phuket Considered for New Cryptocurrency Hub to Boost Tourism
BangkokReady replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The problem is, so many people go through the whole transaction, then once the QR code comes up, they then get their phone out, unlock it, open the app, update the app, and so on. If they all had the app open at the start with the reader ready, it would be a lot smoother. -
Exciting is subjective. If you don't find it exciting, then that's probably that. Personally, I find it interesting, but it would have to be while having a coffee or something, possibly wandering around, but that wouldn't quite be the same. I don't think anyone is stopping somewhere and just looking at people. It's kind of a sit somewhere off to the side or above, then enjoy some sort of food or beverage, while watching the world go by, kind of thing.

Migrants in UK: The Challenge of Integration
BangkokReady replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I think they like their religion and culture, but they're very much aware that the UK is a better place to be. Probably a mixture of economics and culture, while still wishing to live within their culture in a bubble form. -

So, it's a stupid thing to do, and the people doing it are stupid, regardless of who's doing it, but Thais can't help it? -

Gender recognition bill considered for identity self-determination

They always want more and it is never enough for them. Self-identification is a really slippery slope to go down. -

It's fairly common for Thais to drive like that. What do you think of them? Also idiots? -
Thai motorcyclist hits South Korean man on zebra crossing - video
BangkokReady replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Ouch! They need to explain this on the plane. Maybe print it on the arrival cards. Red lights, zebra crossings: meaningless in Thailand. -

BangkokReady replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
I think the issue is the lack of good guys has meant a focus on bad guys.
