  1. This happens all over Thailand and people are regularly hurt by it.
  2. It's really moving towards only having a choice between the "evil right" (who only care about the business elite), and the "evil left" (who only care about minorities)... The average working man really has no one looking out for him.
  3. The problem is, so many people go through the whole transaction, then once the QR code comes up, they then get their phone out, unlock it, open the app, update the app, and so on. If they all had the app open at the start with the reader ready, it would be a lot smoother.
  4. It's hard to believe that someone could be going to a Thai shop in Thailand for years, but then pulled the "if I just say the word in English slower and louder they're bound to understand" cliché...
  5. Exciting is subjective. If you don't find it exciting, then that's probably that. Personally, I find it interesting, but it would have to be while having a coffee or something, possibly wandering around, but that wouldn't quite be the same. I don't think anyone is stopping somewhere and just looking at people. It's kind of a sit somewhere off to the side or above, then enjoy some sort of food or beverage, while watching the world go by, kind of thing.
  6. Who was this guy previously? I don't keep up with the Walts as much as the trolls.
  7. How did he prevent you from standing in the abundant shade that is found at all petrol stations?
  8. I think they like their religion and culture, but they're very much aware that the UK is a better place to be. Probably a mixture of economics and culture, while still wishing to live within their culture in a bubble form.
  9. There you go again, but can you provide a source to back up your claim??? You haven't yet, which suggests you're lying... 🤷‍♂️
  10. Any source to back this up, or just lying because you hate Trump?
  11. So, it's a stupid thing to do, and the people doing it are stupid, regardless of who's doing it, but Thais can't help it?
  12. The far-left team are desperate to try to find something negative to say about Trump. He's doing great work and normal people are very happy with it. A lot are asking, "How was this allowed to go on for so long?". The answer, of course, is that the truth was not allowed to be told under Biden.
  13. So, when Thais do it it's different?
  14. Sounds like a good thing. Wokeism is a cancer on society and anything that removes it is a positive. What's the problem? Just annoyed that the people don't support your ideology?
  15. They always want more and it is never enough for them. Self-identification is a really slippery slope to go down.
  16. Thank Christ for that. I thought for a second it was going to be the man he almost ran into who was getting charged. I saw the video on Facebook. The guy tries to weave through the pedestrians on the crossing with a red light above. Not exactly surprising, but still pretty wild to see.
  17. It's fairly common for Thais to drive like that. What do you think of them? Also idiots?
  18. I don't understand. What is wrong with what I wrote? Those are the facts. It's a really great time. If people like you try to pretend it is bad, what is there that anyone can do anything about it?
  19. Who cares about approval ratings? These are people who are angry that Trump is removing rapists and murders from the country. Their opinion counts for little, and they're probably lying or believing lies. 🤷‍♂️
  20. Ouch! They need to explain this on the plane. Maybe print it on the arrival cards. Red lights, zebra crossings: meaningless in Thailand.
  21. It boggles the mind that they would do this before considering a few very simple changes that would cost nothing and have a monumentally positive effect.
  22. I'm going to assume that he doesn't want to and doesn't care about how anyone else is affected by it.
  23. Fair enough to punish the guy, but since he is having to face the consequences of his actions, the owner of the dog should be charged with allowing his dog to kill his neighbour's chickens.
  24. Do you have a source for this? The article doesn't appear to provide one.
  25. I think the issue is the lack of good guys has meant a focus on bad guys.
