  1. I was on a 15 day 512K plan for 168 baht but just noticed there is a 30 day 1Mbps plan for 300 baht. Better deal I doubled my speed and saved 38 baht per month. At 99 baht for 7 days, if you use a full month you are paying about 400 baht ...better deal if you are interested. AIS prepaid.

Am interested yes tonray, can you send me a link, am looking but it's a bit of a minefield !
  2. UPDATE: Just got a response from London Embassy -  below is straight copy and paste - Showing confirmation that postal applications are acceptable.

  3. I bought a dozen "Eco Wedge" from Solar Center in UK. All still working well two years later.
Much better quality than previous solar lights I tried.
Seen Chinese copies in HomePro but they seemed flimsier.
The original versions are available on ebay, Amazon or direct from Solar center.

Just spotted this on Amazon uk site, looks pretty good with the extra leds, gets very good reviews also , £18.

I thought all this was sorted... I checked on my Samsung phone this afternoon and not all images are showing, so not just you Andrew!  It seems to depend on Browser too I think...(?)

Ron will have to report the issue(s) again.... since I can't communicate with "the gods" anymore!....
Perhaps you could mention which browser you are using... it might help!

I'm on an iPhone jimmy using the TVConnect app.
I get exactly the same result on Tapatalk app ( I.e. nothing shows after #365 )

But, lo and behold !!, on Thaivisa.com on the safari browser ( iPhone standard browser ) everything shows !!

I don't use Thaivisa.com on my iPhone because it's the mobile ( celular) web version and not as easy to navigate as the apps.

So, it would appear it's a problem with the apps, or more likely the Connect app as Tapatalk just reproduces the Connect app in a slightly different format ( I think ).

Anyway, enough of my rambling, hope it helps .

  5. Samuijimmy you are an enigma !!
I continue to struggle to view your photos !!, much the pity !
I can't see any photo after #365 except for the last 3 photos ( cone of weeds etc ) which I could see yesterday but not today !!, hence I assume that the problem is my end.

For example, on the July 2017 Photography competition yours is the only photo I can't see !

Anyway, despite this problem, I still enjoy your photos and hope you continue to post for a long time to come, and when I resolve my viewing issue I will have a lot to catch up on [emoji4]

  6. Yes how true, but am amazed OP's wife doesn't know - On the news there was a Thai that offered something like 50,000 eggs as a blessing for good luck

She is my gf not my wife , what has she been saying !! [emoji51]

I assumed it was just some merit making deal but as she didn't know I thought I would ask the question as she's usually pretty good on these type of questions .
  7. I'm on prepaid 7 days unlimited internet 99 baht ( 105 with tax ), 4G speed 1 Mbps or in 3G area goes down to 375 Kbps, phone usage on top. Gf is on the same, don't really use the phone as a phone anymore, use , FaceTime, Line, WhatsApp etc.

There is another at 89 baht ( 94 with tax ) unlimited internet at 512 Kbps for 7 days, good as well, buffers a bit watching videos online at certain times of day ( hence I went for the 99 baht version).

  8. Let me save you some time here:

You are gonna make it in crushed stone because you are " the man of the house " " you wear the pants " and it's what you want. !!

So you will do it in crushed stone, then it starts :

    1) I don't like it !

    2) The stones are too big I can't walk on it properly !

    3) The stones are too small, they get stuck in the scooter tyres !

    4) When it hasn't rained for a couple of days its too dusty.

    5) It's ruining the heels of my shoes !

    6) Can't wash the dog crap off with the hosepipe, it goes everywhere !!

    etc etc etc

So in a fit of rage you will rip half of the stones out and order the concrete, but because you are all miffed you will not water it and it'll be all cracked and ugly !!

Or you could just go with the concrete and save yourself a lot of stress and sleepless nights on the sofa !!

  9. I wear em, nearly every day except for visits to immigration, dentist, temple etc

I like the longer ones ( below the knee ) and the thinner ones I.e. Not the ones with thicker material and buckled side pockets etc.
    Similar to this:

I bought a couple of pairs like this in Japan at Uniqlo but they don't have them here.

I do admit to having a pair of dark blue camo shorts that for some reason don't fit me anymore [emoji20]

  10. Just to get me back on track as the poster - With my original question asked:
The website for London Embassy seemed to indicate that sending application by post for O-A was possible - I was looking for guidance to establish if this was actually possible.

It was helpful when Tanoshi - identified that a friend has done this same application by post - hence it was an indicator that this was actually possible.

Ubonjoe and a few others were questioning how this might have been achieved when there has been few other reports of this occurring on the forum.

I just want to get the A-O visa that gives me 2 years (if I leave and return before end of visa date).
However I just do not want to travel down to London and stay overnight if I can prevent doing this.

Hence I was looking for clarity if I could make a postal application for the O-A visa.

I should email them or persevere with a phone call.

I got my O-A last October from London, I don't remember if posting was an option I traveled down ( from Yorkshire) overnight by coach, presented my application early doors, bit of sightseeing before retiring to my shoebox hotel room.
Next day, few more photos, pick up passport ( 11.00 am I think), back on the coach up to " Gods country ".
Treat it like a little holiday, but I can fully understand if you don't feel inclined.
