This might be obvious to some, but these actual words escaped me for many years !

I think an indication of a great comedy show is when it crosses over into popular culture and language etc. There are lines and jokes from Monty python, Seinfeld etc that are now part of everyday speech. Talk about a gay person, "not that there's anything wrong with that", comes from seinfeld. "Dont mention the war", comes from fawlty towers. "We are all individuals, I'm not" from Monty Python.

Might be a bit tougher using just one line..Such as...

I think it should be " on " as it is an island and you would never say " in " an island ?

But probably both are acceptable as in :

" I live in/on Samui "

" oh you live on an island "

You're are probably one of many who get burnt , I'm guessing the majority just right it off.
Sounds like you have a chance to regain some of your losses, so I wish you good luck with that .

On my Honda Jazz I have a remote to open/lock the doors, no actual key [emoji360], it has a start button.

The remote splits apart to reveal a hidden key which when inserted into flap next to gear lever enables you to select Neutral with engine stopped.

Probably not relevant to Ford but worth a look, I wouldn't have known how either until the Honda sales woman pointed it out !

A similar sort of thing happened to me at São Paulo airport a few years ago:

The Airport taxis had their own deal going on and local taxis were not allowed to loiter for fares.
I arrived, came out the airport and my buddy ( who actually was a taxi driver ) met me outside upstairs at departures ( due to less traffic).
Well, the taxi mafia descended on us demanding proof that this was a booked job and not the taxi driver stealing their fares !!

I wanted to tell them to F off but my buddy was scared about losing his license. So they separated us and asked us questions about each other !!
Once they realised I knew his wife and parents name then they said ok , begrudgingly. But up until this point they were really aggressive and at one point wanted me to get on a bus until outside the airport !!

Do you see how small those "Thai Hoses " were. No wonder that Western men with larger equipment can "Put out The Fire" a lot better.

Here is a perfect opportunity for the Thai authorities to come down hard on this guy and give him a sentence worthy of the crime, jail time at least for all three !

Unfortunately I know this will not happen and a slap on the wrist and a small fine will be issued ! Making him a hero amongst his scummy mates !!

Come on Thailand the evidence is there for all to see ! React accordingly !!

Hopefully the security guard makes a full recovery.
