  2. 1. My mats fit well on the pins , a good tight fit , the passenger side tends to slide forward all the time so i put some of that 3M double sided clear tape on the edge, so far so good but will try Velcro if it fails. 2. Not driven above 130 ! 3. I don’t always to 100% but usually do as charge o/night (TOU meter ), I have a once a month trip of around 450 km so will aim to let it get down to around 15% on arrival back home and then charge to 100%
  3. Was just on CH 32. A video of him lifting the tail and getting a bit touchy feely then a pixelated video of him “ going for it “ arm deep !! Put me off my cornflakes !!
  4. It is on the news now …… if you are feeling the urge ?
  5. Following the Neta theme: https://carnewschina.com/2024/03/08/netas-indonesia-plant-set-for-vehicles-to-roll-off-the-assembly-line-next-month/ What about the Thai Neta factory ? https://www.neta.co.th/en/news/brands-pr-news/NetaVll_factory Looks like the Thai Neta factory will concentrate on the release of Neta V II anytime now. The first car off the production line was a Neta V II back in Nov 2023
  6. 300k more than the X and a NMC battery might put some off.
  7. MG4 X Power coming soon, price to be announced at Motor Show. ( my money is on 1,199,000 😀 ) https://autolifethailand.tv/spec-unofficial-price-mg4-x-power-thailand/
  8. MG ZS EV X Sunroof special edition to celebrate 100 years of MG. 899,900 baht ( 29,100 below usual price ) with a 100 years anniversary badge ( cue Transman ! ) Comes only in silver with black interior. https://autolifethailand.tv/official-price-mg-zs-ev-100th-anniversary/
  9. Regarding bringing up Siri for iPhone users, might be similar for Android users but I believe they also have wireless option. Only the usb A port ( RH side )will bring up Siri or CarPlay, holding the microphone button on the steering wheel for a couple of seconds brings up Siri, a short press brings up the BYD Assistant. You can then ask questions, weather or distance etc but neither are very useful for the price of cheese !! Using the usb C port ( LH side ) does give faster charging speeds though. Holding the microphone button using usb C opens up Bluetooth settings only. I have 2 usb cables permanently installed, one white and one black ………. one for faster charging and the other for CarPlay which since installing apps I rarely use.
  10. He has mentioned he is in Australia a few times but you are probably right about his accent.
  11. And “ running on it’s alloys in 4,000 miles “ !! Laughed out loud at that 😀
  12. Here is an independent report on the statement that ev’s pollute more via their brake and tyre wear. https://www.rac.co.uk/drive/electric-cars/running/do-electric-vehicles-produce-more-tyre-and-brake-pollution-than-petrol-and/
  13. She should get similar attention yes, but in another thread, using “ whataboutery “ here only dilutes the severity of this incident.
  14. Can only speak for iPhone/Carplay. If you connect your phone via the usb connection you should get a message asking if you want to use CarPlay, which means certain apps from your phone be available on the Information screen, very good for Google Maps or your music. Likewise for Android devices, although I believe they don’t need the cable ( wireless ) and you can open from the app on Info screen, swipe left from the Home Screen.
  15. While this reply might have been seen as harsh I stand by it. I replied to a comment that has succeeded in deflecting the focus from this hateful incident to another completely unrelated incident.l, almost half the comments are now on the other subject. Why didn’t he open another thread ?? Pure whataboutery ☹️
  16. Was going to try this out today, I think you have to be connected via Android Auto ( Google Assistant) or CarPlay ( Siri ) for it to work. Yes, a very unusual accent, in the video ( if that is him ) doesn’t help me recognise his accent at all.
  17. Pathetic deflection, you will no doubt be quoting your own “ attempted murder “ next 😀
  18. Yesterday in a Trang supermarket locals witnessed a Swiss man violently attacking a Thai woman. https://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/2024/03/06/a-swiss-man-seriously-hurts-thai-woman-in-trang-supermarket/
  19. This is what was written: “ However, there is a requirement that if 100% electric vehicles are imported for sale, they must produce 1 times domestically by 2024 (2024) or extend the period to by 2025 (2025), but must produce 1.5 times.“ Source : https://autolifethailand.tv/byd-thailand-wha-group-mou-ev-bev-atto3-thailand/ Did you invent the “ and sell ( not export )” part yourself ??
  20. There are 4 or 5 videos on: https://www.facebook.com/TalkMissthailand2019 Not sure if the first fight is on there though EDIT, Mrs D tells me these videos are all at the Hotel, showed me the first video but it was from a distance and not very good.
  21. Don’t be worried the intention was always to export Thai manufactured vehicles. https://autolifethailand.tv/byd-thailand-wha-group-mou-ev-bev-atto3-thailand/ “ BYD's 100% electric and plug-in hybrid plant is expected to start production in 2024 with a production capacity of 150,000 units per year for domestic sales and export to countries in ASEAN and Europe. The Board of Investment has approved large-scale investment projects in the production of battery electric vehicles (BEVs: 100% electric vehicles) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). “ Sept 2022
