There is a grille that can be fit to stop leaves entering, available from Lazada, Shopee etc. I had one on order but cancelled due to some question of cutting down the air flow, after seeing this though i might rethink ? EDIT: just had a quick look inside and there are indeed a few leaves up against the radiator -
Brazil introduced what is locally known as “zero tolerance “ in 2012 but with a high level of corruption a simple 20 or 50 Reais note tucked into your driving document would make any issue disappear . https://www.who.int/news/item/01-08-2022-after-lengthy-debate--brazil-s-drink-driving-law-is-fully-ratified#:~:text=Brazil's 'Dry Law' stipulates that,blood-alcohol content of zero.

Len was axed from his soap persona in the early 80’s after an unusual series of events, he publicly stated to the press that his fellow co actors were “ lazy amateurs “ among other things and he was due to be suspended for 6 weeks for this when he was arrested for sexually assaulting 2 x 8 year old girls in a swimming pool. He always professed his innocence but a journalist stated he had admitted being guilty of the offence after a couple of bottles of whiskey. To fund his defence he sold his story to a couple of tabloid newspapers. The tv station ( Granada ) killed off his character in a car crash while returning from seeing his girlfriend, cheating on his wife Rita ! The public got behind Len and “ Thumbs up for Len Fairclough “ became a popular catchphrase of the era, many people missing the ironic dark humour !! He never returned to soaps but continued a slightly diminished acting career, he died in 2002 of stomach cancer.

Apparently he then got arrested for having a firearm without a license !! sorry 😞 -
As BritMan stated Typhoo is readily available on Lazada as is Yorkshire Tea ( but the price might put you off Yorkshire ). Lipton’s is the poorest tea available imho and i am amazed it sells !! PG Tips seems to be going the same way, weaker than a Larry Grayson handshake !

So looks like my maintenance schedule in the car had been set to notify me 1 month early or around 17.5/18k km. Seems a bit pointless having a 7 day countdown if they are already 1 month early ! My 1st/3 month was done at 2 1/2 months and 3,200 km, vaguely recall seeing the pop up then making a service booking so presumably 1 month early notice also. Don’t remember the 7 days countdown pop up, maybe that came with an OTA. Will probably call in some time next week to book a service, maybe sneak a few cheeky free electrons at the same time. P.S. am not really obsessing over this ( honest !) but looking to paint my brake callipers and touch up my dipped wheels sometime soon and will wait till the service/tyre rotation is done. -

So, on Thursday or Friday I got a pop up on my instrument cluster with the crossed wrench and screwdriver stating “ 7 days before service “. Now 6 days: Now, I picked up the car on Nov 30th 2023 and have done 16,380 km. So i looked at the settings in service screen to see the day countdown was on 5 days, by my reckoning should be 34 days to go. By setting to 0 days i would then get the “ please go to BYD authorised service shop for service immediately “ By setting to 30 days the message disappears altogether. Am presuming that someone miscalculated by 1 month as it appears you already get a 7 day countdown ?? Soo, I reset to 30 days and 20,000 km previously it was something like 1,380 km which didn’t make sense either . NOTE: I since realised that the maintenance mileage is probably a countdown also and I should have set to 3,620 ( 20k - 16,380 ) will check that later. Quite dull I admit but i wonder how many cars have the ability to set your own maintenance schedules ?? EDIT: checked and it appears that it is 1 year from when i ordered the car ( Oct 24th 2023 ) which would seem like an odd date as some have had to wait a few months before delivery and the turnaround at the dealership must be only 3 or 4 days !! Anyone else noticed this or is it only me needing a new hobby ?? -

I got it down to 9% one time and then charged in one go up to 100% but it takes a while !! I generally charge to 100% once a week and usually on a Sunday but now the step daughter is at uni and I am the designated driver to take her back my routine is on the fly ! TIP OF THE DAY: if your children are going to Uni don’t pick one 30 minutes down the road, its like they never left home !! I am still working on the idea that < 10% to 100% is better done on AC , although have not seen anything in writing to that effect. The free charging has changed the routine also, charged from 24% to 100% yesterday and currently have 73% so will let that get down to below 40% before charging again. My next <10% to 100% will probably be after the New Year and on my TOU so will need a Sat afternoon onwards charge. -

Maybe it would involve a new meter. I bought an additional meter ( TOU ) for charging only my EV and it was around 4,800 baht, your extra charge ( 5714 baht ) could be the 3 phase aspect.

1) I don’t see the fact that there are plenty of apps for charging EV’s as a negative, on the contrary. While I have downloaded a few app I only use 2 in nearly a year, 1 has no money loaded and the other does have money loaded into a wallet but it doesn’t have a minimum and I can transfer the minimum amount to it shortly before charging if necessary. Where is the negative ? 2) Now it appears that charging too fast is a negative ?, just choose the AC option . -
Thanks, the Bangchak nearest me is off peak and is a tiny location so your theory could be correct. Drove 410km today, left with 96% and arrived back with 21% ( 136 km ) as we neared the Bangchak i checked the app to see both occupied with 35% and 42% charged so the app update has paid for itself already, didn’t even pull in. Will check again tomorrow but i have noticed that this charger is busy most Sundays so unlikely to find a spot, the off peak effect. A Monday drive out to the other Bangchak is likely on the cards for me for a charge and a bite to eat. It is 30 km but basically 3 long straight roads , Mrs D has already commented on my speed increase since getting free charging !!
