  1. Compared to soi 6 Pattaya, that's way overdressed.
  2. Yes, exactly. And still have to build and staff the 90%. The small casino is a losing proposition.
  3. Only 10% of some entertainment complex will be a casino, couple that with the exorbitant initial license fee plus a huge yearly fee, makes it a losing proposition.
  4. I think it's time for rich Australia to step up and start taking care of poor SEA countries.
  5. Did it give you a buzz?
  6. I used to work with a lot of Vietnamese in the US, they were way too serious. No Thai easy going philosophy. And I used to live with a Viet girl, the sex was great but she stole from me to fund her gambling habit. no Thai girl has ever stolen from me. You can keep Communist Vietnam, I'll stay in Thailand.
  7. I think they like talking about having a casino, but they don't really want one.
  8. From ChatGPT: ChatGPT said: Yes, drinking alcohol can contribute to feelings of paranoia, especially under certain conditions. Here’s how: 1. Immediate Effects of Intoxication High doses of alcohol can impair judgment and increase anxiety, leading some people to feel suspicious or fearful. Alcohol affects brain chemistry, particularly by altering neurotransmitters like dopamine and GABA, which can destabilize mood and perception. 2. Alcohol and Mental Health If someone has a preexisting mental health condition such as anxiety, depression, or a paranoid personality disorder, alcohol may worsen symptoms. In people predisposed to psychosis or paranoia (e.g., in schizophrenia or bipolar disorder), alcohol can trigger or intensify paranoid thinking. 3. Withdrawal and Hangovers During alcohol withdrawal (including the next day after heavy drinking), some people experience paranoia, agitation, and anxiety, sometimes called “hangxiety.” In chronic alcohol users, more severe withdrawal can include delirium tremens (DTs), which often involve paranoia and hallucinations. 4. Alcohol-Induced Psychosis In rare cases, especially with long-term or heavy use, alcohol can lead to alcohol-induced psychosis, which includes paranoia, delusions, and hallucinations.
  9. How many board names do you have now? i lost count.
  10. it's readily available on Lazada, so it's not illegal.
  11. Yes, I just watched it, so I changed my post. Thanks
  12. No, but you butted in a conversation about Trump, which I said not much has changed for the average American since he's been in office. Maybe in the future read the whole thread before quoting.
  13. All true. But that's the exact same situation they were in 3 months ago, it didn't happen overnight.
  14. That's the thing, change for the average American is possible in the future, but as of today not much has changed. I don't like many of Trump's policies, but I have a wait and see attitude because no one knows the future. I give him until summer of 2026, because if things aren't good by then he will lose the mid-terms and will never get any bill passed again.
  15. I don't think so, nothing has changed for the average American, except their 401k went down a little.
  16. It's amazing that so many foreigners love to talk about the US. But the Yanks living in the US almost never mention your tiny countries, and certainly don't give a darn about your country's politics. But I guess that's what happens when you're the Big Dog. 🐶
  17. double post
  18. I'm curious why you didn't do the same when Biden was ignoring federal immigration laws and defied the supreme courts ruling about student loans? Aren't those actions a threat to democracy?
  19. Her biggest edge was that she was running against Trump. Most of her votes were against Trump, not for her. Remember she was polling at 1.7% during the democrat primary of 2020. Most people know she's an unlikable idiot.
  20. It takes 2/3 of the senate to impeach a president. You really think that's going to happen, ever? https://www.senate.gov/about/powers-procedures/impeachment.htm
  21. So the Thai Govt went from 10% of an entertainment complex to be a casino, to now 0%. Inspires confidence.
  22. Did you start learning Chinese yet? And any money or property you have, is going to be confiscated. That's the world you are hoping for when you said the US is going away.
  23. You mean before Hunter Biden?
