  1. Even if true, the documents have always been the property of the US government, not Donald Trump, and the classified was stored in an insecure and illegal manner.
  2. I wouldn't be surprised is this is true, but currently it appears to be mostly speculation.
  3. Please provide links to the documents confirming this "documented squeeze" and identify what Trump did to correct the situation.
  4. Trump's 2024 campaign slogan--MAUA, Make America Unsafe Again.
  5. Your "argument" certainly isn't based on evidence. Is your assumption that Trump couldn't have done anything wrong based on him being Trump and infallible?
  6. "What you do have so far is a one-sided story put out by a media who has clearly shown they are propagandists." While the Hunter Biden laptop story you and others keep bringing up is, well, a perfect fit for your description. "The U.S. is not a democracy. It's a Republic." Why do some people have so much trouble grasping the concept of a democratic republic?
  7. The Trump defenders seem to have been reduced to whattaboutism diversions and speculating that the lack of formal charges at this time suggests something....I'm not sure what. To briefly summarize why Trump has not been charged yet, I offer: Trump is not a flight risk. Not because he is above that sort of thing, but because it would be difficult to get away with it. The investigation is still ongoing. I assume that the documents seized are being carefully inspected and cross-referenced with a list of missing documents to make sure nothing is missing. I would not be surprised if there are still missing documents. I also assume that some attempt is being made to determine who had access to these documents and if any copies were made. Once the investigation is finished, whatever action is decided upon will be conducted with exceptional care to ensure it is done legally. There's no hurry. I can't offer anything to dissuade the diversion posts.
  8. If you think the content of a document marked TS/SCI has any bearing on the legality of being improperly in possession of such a document, you clearly don't know what you are talking about.
  9. Articles on Russian interference in the election that were proven wrong? I can't recall any. Can you identify them?
  10. I'm sure you can find topics on Hunter Biden and Hillary Clinton. I suggest you go there with your questions.
  11. Are you contesting the fact that documents marked TS/SCI were found stored in an insufficiently secure manner on his property? Are you disputing the fact that these documents were government property that he had repeatedly been asked to return? Or are you contesting the fact that it is illegal for anyone, even an ex-President, to steal government property, including documents marked at the highest level of security classification, and store it as casually as some people store their gardening tools?
  12. Some of the documents are marked TS/SCI. That's all the detail that is needed to prove the law has been broken. What's in those documents is irrelevant and will not be released.
  13. The vaccine push was good. How was he on promoting mask use?
  14. They're willing to die to make Biden look bad. That's dedication. It's also gross stupidity, but dedication nonetheless.
  15. I really hope some conflict of interest investigations are in work.
  16. You're in a hurry to have Trump charged? I don't think Trump is a flight risk. Considering the nature of this case, I have no problem with the FBI and Justice Department working carefully to build their cases before deciding on charges and arrests.
  17. No, it appears that the negotiations were going nowhere and Trump refused to give up the TS/SCI documents he had no business keeping.
  18. Yes, everything was better. If only Biden could achieve something as glorious as January 6, 2021.
  19. Actually the family fortune began began with a hotel/brothel owning grandfather. https://www.bloomberg.com/features/2016-trump-family-fortune/
  20. Having worked with classified below the TS/SCI level, I have some grasp of the seriousness of having TS/SCI in a non-secure location. I agree that Trump is entitled to the presumption of innocence. However the fact that nobody is contesting the fact that Trump took TS/SCI from the White House, did not return it in when other documents were returned, and kept such highly classified documents in a non-secure location is pretty damning.
  21. Caution--smoke and diversions ahead! The reasons for the raid--Trump's removal of documents he had no right to, attempts to retrieve the documents, negotiations and requests regarding missing documents--has been widely reported. That is the predicate.
  22. He had insecurely stored highly classified documents he had no right to have. That is a crime and the documents are proof of the crime.
  23. Fully cooperated? Really? Do you have a source other than the Trump family for that information?
  24. Do you think that a propaganda movie is more credible than the Republican governors and election officials who called the election fair, the judges who rejected the election challenges, the audits and recounts that confirmed the election results, and Trump's own head of Homeland Security, who called the election the most secure in American history? If the evidence in that silly movie was so credible, why didn't any of Trump's election challenges use it in court?
