  1. Yeah, I don't doubt that. Point?
  2. I complained about the checks.
  3. Try opening an account and see how it goes, $100 minimum might be fun is you can do everything online. Open a USD and a KHR with the same amount and see how they do. Might be interesting...
  4. Bank failure notwithstanding, there is also risk with currency fluctuation. My interest earning immigration account was a lot more attractive before the Baht went south and I started getting 3% in the US.
  5. So why are all the MBAs. MDs, RNs, PEs unable to pay off their loans? Last time I looked they made pretty good dough. Why did you include Social Sciences? That's hilarious.
  6. Problem: Not enough poor people getting university degrees. Solution: Provide government sponsored student loans. Result: Price of education skyrockets. Problem: Not enough ethnic diversity at universities. Solution: Lower standards to accommodate admittance of underrepresented ethnicities. Result: Many students admitted as a result of lowered standards do not graduate. Problem: Not enough students admitted as a result of lowered standards graduate Solution: Lower graduation requirements. Result: Employers no longer consider many college degrees of value. Problem: Not enough graduates have jobs that pay enough to pay down their loans. Solution: Forgive student debt. Result: Price of education skyrockets while the quality of education plummets. I think it's great!
  7. Will they give you that rate on a USD or THB account?
  8. It is worth noting that virtually all the shop houses in Thailand (of which there are many) have flat concrete roofs.
  9. Like you huh? As it typical, long on reporting, short an facts and data. It was a joke, again, try to follow along....
  10. He's talking rubbish. Now is the time to BUY and BUY and BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Your links support what I said about fossil fuel subsidies and the 97% lie. Do you even read the stuff you link to? More Koolade over here!
  12. NOT THAILAND RELATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is hilarious that a "WhichEV" survey comes out in favor of EVs... Why not get Exxon to do a survey?
  13. That's because they're not morons
  14. Never said the effects of exhaust were not deleterious. I know it's difficult but try to follow along and please don't lie about what I say or don't say. But not in a vacuum. If you mandate all vehicles/motorcycles in a particular area be EV, sales increase whether you cut subsidies or not. Yes, although they also count the "damage" the World suffers by the burning of fossil fuels as the biggest portion of the "subsidies"'. The fossil fuel subsidies are just another big lie, much like the 97% lie. What industries are causing harm? Governments buy coal or oil or natural gas and burn it to generate electricity, and then they sell the electricity to do any number of things (including charging EVs) but it's the Evil fossil fuel industry that's causing the damage. You guys crack me up.
  15. The IMF, that's hilarious. More Koolaid anyone? Subsidies for EVs typically include direct payments to the purchasers. Subsidies for the fossil fuel industry typically include what governments pay for the fuel they buy and the deductions they get from their payroll. In any event, why the mandates?
  16. How is what you're saying different from what I'm saying?
  17. Another well thought out response.
  18. Exactly. It is because EVs are so great that vehicle manufacturers have to be compelled by governments to build them. And because citizens are not smart enough to know what they should buy; it is up to the government make them do the right thing.
  19. Subsidies and mandates prove how great they are!
  20. Charging EVs in Thailand should be free as it reduces climate change.
  21. A decent washer is all about volume...
  22. Yeah, I like the Sportsman when I'm in Pats, I'll have to try the fish..
