  1. I doubt it will have a significant negative impact with anyone that might vote for Trump anyway. To be clear, I do not see Trump winning the election.
  2. Good news that Tires are pretty competitive, if someone knew how to make significantly better tires and still be able to sell them, they would. Yeah, I used to have a little car back in the '90s. I got a set of four at Pep Boys mounted for $59
  3. Do you think the McDonald's burgers in the US look like the photos? I find the McDonald's stuff in Thailand looks better than the stuff in the US.
  4. The restaurant's photo the OP posted looks like only two ribs to me. That said, the actual meal does not look very appetizing.
  5. So how do the tires look? Not an engineer then? No one is knocking your precious MG, we were just discussing why they might be burning through tires so quickly. The last tires i bought were B33,159, The tires they replaced lasted 56.500km, so tires should cost about B0.59/km At B29.00/liter, fuel costs ~B2.75/liter So tire cost is about 21% of fuel cost, which is not insignificant.
  6. It's a business.
  7. Interesting article. From the link: "The tire manufacturer Michelin said conventional tires on electric vehicles consume tires 20 percent faster than on a gas-powered car — a figure commonly cited by EV makers as well — but Goodyear also has said they could wear up to 50 percent faster. Automakers and the tire industry are working on improvements." Also talks about some of the reasons, and they seem to make sense. How many kms do you guys have on your EVs?
  8. That's why I quit buying them. A little butter, cinnamon, sugar, five-ten minutes in the oven and it's snack time. Roll up a couple sausages, ten minutes in the oven and it's lunch time.
  9. The tire wear thing seems like BS to me. Will they do burn-offs? If a car has all-wheel drive and people are punching it, it will not take long to burn through a set of tires. I don't think I've gotten less than 60,000km out of a set of tires in the last 30 years.
  10. No, some of the dumbash EU countries do it. None of them care about their own poor.
  11. Really? Since the kid left for school, we don't really watch anything together at home, but she likes the movies and since we got the annual passes, she wants to go all the time. Once in a while I'll watch a movie while she shops.
  12. It's inappropriate, childish and I do not like it, but it's not misogynistic. It's nonbinary, like nitwit. Are you British? People in the US generally do not refer to women as birds.
  13. Where did you stay?
  14. Gone the next day. It was like, here's a bottle of water and a vegan protein bar, hit the ramp tramp. But in Chicago, your kids have to stay home from school, so the illegals have someplace to stay.
  15. Did you like "The Beekeeper"?
  16. Really? You just regurgitated a line you heard on TV or whatnot and then claimed that research shows it, and I asked you what research, you can't, so you blame me. You made it up. By one of you, I assume you mean non-leftist, yes? You do not want to debate anything because you can't. If you really wanted to debate, you would show that my statements about Kamala Harris were false, but you can't, because they are true.
  17. Yeah, those rich elites love them some nannies, gardeners and housekeepers, and they get to virtue-signal and don't care about ruining the county for the working poor.
  18. How many doughs in a pack?
  19. In the last couple weeks, I've seen: "Elevator Game" I think a low budget US "supernatural horror", I thought it was very bad. "Chinatown ChaCha" Thai action-adventure comedy. Not great but okay. "The Elite of the Devils" Thai horror-nihilism movie, look like there will be a sequel, I thought it was bad. "Next Goal Wins" Sport-comedy apparently based on a true story. I thought it was entertaining. "The Beekeeper" Action-thriller with a bit of comedy. Wife loved it, I enjoyed it, Jason Statham saving the world, how bad could it be? "The Cursed" Thai horror movie, I thought it was very bad. "The Three Musketeers-Pert II: Milady" French action picture, pretty good, I did realize it was part two, and I'd like to see part one. "Oppenheimer" US thriller, this was a good picture. Rereleased in Thailand, I assume because of the best picture nomination. I saw it in "IMAX" and really enjoyed it. "Miller's Girl" US Thriller-sort of. Some annoying things but pretty good. "Anyone But You" US romantic-comedy. This could have been a good picture, but too ridiculous too many times.
