  1. And I am not denying the reality of competition, you just made that up. Again, truth is not a left-wing value. Exactly, you pretend to support free markets when it promotes your agenda, but you want the government to manipulate it when it does not. This old chestnut? The idiotic energy subsidies lie has been debunked here before.
  2. I'd love to see your explanation of the logic in your comment
  3. Do they not always ask? All I ever have to do is shake my head yes or no.
  4. "So long as the gap is smaller, they’d rather have the poor poorer."
  5. It costs me ten times as much to visit a museum as a local in my home country as it does to visit a museum in Thailand as a tourist.
  6. I would support tourists paying 8-10x what locals pay in my county.
  7. No. Grandma maybe.
  8. Hummmmm, no, you were stating an opinion, as a fact. You could say one is prostituting themselves for a raise, but that would not make them a prostitute.
  9. I really enjoyed season one, but the wheels fell off for me in season two.
  10. Hmmm, so one spends US$5,000 on airfare, $2,000 on hotel, $1,000 for meals, but gad-darn-it they're not going to spend an extra dollar to get into the zoo, it's the principle don't you know!
  11. I'm not a marxist, I'm a classical liberal. Well, thanks for outing yourself a leftist. You claim to be "a confirmed believer in the efficacy of free markets..." yet you propose and support massive government intervention in the market. Truth is not a left-wing value.
  12. From your link: "The administration of President Joe Biden attributed the announcement to his policies aimed at creating a U.S. electric vehicle manufacturing base and tax credits to increase sales in an effort to fight climate change." Apparently, taxpayers will be funding the network the "seven major automakers" are building as part of Biden's $2T Green New Idiocy...
  13. They most always charge me the local price, why not try smiling rather than hollering next time? In any evert, while you apparently reside in Thailand, you are not a permanent resident, you are a visitor.
  14. To be clear, your position is: If one has sex with their boss because they want a raise, but don't get the raise, they are not a prostitute. But if one has sex with their boss because they are attracted to power, but as a result of the sex they get a raise, they are a prostitute. Correct? What if a gal bangs the boss's son because he's hot, they fall in love, marry and have kids, and the woman becomes a wealthy wife, is she a prostitute as well?
  15. We've got to stick our plan of trying to reduce CO2 emissions by a few percentage points! It hasn't worked for the last twenty years, but it is going to start working any day now with all the new technology and whatnot. Sell more carbon credits, the more regressive the tax, the better!!!! Stay the course!!!
  16. In what sense? Yes, I knew it off the top of my head. But to be fair, I did not know it ten years ago, before I started to understand how the left has weaponized media and education. You're just saying that because it's true. That hilarious, a man of the accusing others of condescension. At least our wives have something in common...
  17. No, they last forever and require no maintenance.
  18. My MIL and wife both hated cats. Took me twenty years to get one. I had to put my foot down and tell her we were getting a cat, and that it was not a fight she could win. I also told her that if after a year, she still did not want the cat, we would get rid of it. It took about a week for her to fall in love with the cat. That was almost four years ago. My 70-year-old mother-in-law walks to the market and back to bring fresh fish to cook for the cat when she visits...
  19. Not to worry, several guys will be around directly to address this...
  20. "People that hate cats all have one thing in common, they never had one." LAS RIP
