  1. name a world cup that wasnt corrupt. they'll probably receive a payment from fifa just like Ireland got stitched up against Frane with the handball in the play off game.
  2. Or just people having a drink and having fun, just because the guy doesn't have a license, does not equate to it must be selling illegal drugs or full or druggies. You can get drugs in any bar or legal nightclub in any town in any country.
  3. Its great to see the Thais educating the farang. I'm sure he will pass on some that knowledge to his friends and family back home. Priceless.
  4. Yep definitely stay from Hua Hin now they have built a bar area. I would imagine this is the end of tourism for Hua Hin. RIP.
  5. Pretty much all of our food stuffs are covered in chemicals of some sort, hence why you should always wash veg before cooking and its no different from this stuff, wash it and generally you will remove all tastes of it. In the UK we often use bleach to get them white as stomachs can be green from the staining of the grass and no one wants to eat green dim sum. Dim sum in Chinese restaurants is where most of this stuff ends up, not cheap and certainly not in any street meat.
  6. These are processed Tripes being cleaned in a solution of hydrogen perxoide and formalin. The peroxide keeps it white but it is washed out at the end and they will NOT be in your street meat or bbg, Its worth too much to be included and the processes to get this stage are not that easy This is a normal process that is done all across Europe, (albeit not illegally) 90% of these type of stomachs products are for export to Hong Kong or directly into China. A 40' container will hold 24 - 25MT, the amount found here This product would not be for street meat type products as its worth a lot more than chicken breasts for example when you work out the price per kg. Beef 'honeycomb' tripe retials at around 10 dollars per kg. Unprocessed green tripes end up in pet food or perhaps some human food however its not that cheap at all and even unprocessed its still worth more than chicken wings in terms of per kg. What ends up in processed meats is far worse that whats in the pictures here.
  7. What a surprise and generally funded by the poor inhabitants of the local communities, hoping they get some good luck for the lottery or love...yet the only thing on the monks mind is why hasn't his dealer text him back yet.
  8. The information out there becomes questionable when many countries are still less than 20% vaccinated and look whats happening there......nothing. I can imagine this being similar to the swine flu fiasco and in 2009 (people have short memories or decide to simply ignore the facts from that time) https://www.theguardian.com/business/2010/jun/04/swine-flu-experts-big-pharmaceutical Please tell me what has changed in the last 12 years, did these people / scientists ; governments suddenly see the light? Its similar to Thailand and their inspection of soi6 Pattaya and found no prostitution......You all call that out as bs yet 100% argue on other matters, it makes no sense. There's an alt era motive, if you cant see that than you choose not to.
  9. Hope the women has some success with her new job. By not taking any of these boosters you are 100% effective against any form of side effect and I don't personally know anyone that has ended up in hospital either jabbed or not. Over 30 countries int he world are less than 20% vaccinated, yet they are not over run or pleading for more vaccines to be sent. Life has gone on yet had we vaccinated 80% of them the story would be the vaccines saved them, and their would be no message from the other side. You have to be careful to not silence both sides of an argument other wise you end of with a dictatorial totalitarian set up. Living in Thailand you see the inequality on a daily basis where the majority of the population cant speak or wont speak up regards to the blatant extortion and bribes that are routinely exercised. Its no difference at any other level in business or government.
  10. Haha can quite believe the OP, good luck with that one! I took a taxi as had to cut some grass on a house i thought i owned, asked driver to wait whilst i strimmed the grass, after 2 minutes he was out of the car and taking the strimmer from me, despite myself having experience in gardening and power tools, he presumed he should take on the job for me, he then proceeds to wreck the turf and wouldn't return the strimmer to let me finish. Thinking he could do a better job yet i assumed he had never used a strimmer before! Also on the same house, they had plug sockets outside that were just normal plug sockets that you would install inside a house..... I told the women selling the house that it was totally illegal and dangerous, yet she wouldn't change or accept the fact untill about a month later when a Thai person told her that it was not acceptable and needed to be changed.
  11. Not sure the relevance of the gf going home and the father needing transport to the hospital, anyways with that info. Why doesn't the father juts get the bus or train as its only 1 km from the village, of course i guess he will need to be aided by would be easier to find someone to chaparone him as opposed to finding someone who drives or you have to hire a car (which seems a very expensive way to do it)
  12. Ive not asked where Thailand is getting their vaccines from, perhaps you replied to the wrong post, or misread it?
  13. If you were jabbed early on then in theory you should be on your 6 jab by now? If you are to be considered fully vaccinated. Does it stop or do we just carry on getting the booster every 6 months from now on?
  14. This isnt about saving electricity, Its about limiting what people can do. As mentioned there are other more sensible ways to reduce electric wastage if that's what they really intended. People say we need to use less energy but i disagree, as with that comes loss of productivity.
  15. What if the man and his wife both decide to use a prostitute?
  16. ''Personally I would go with something uniquely Thailand. Bars & hookers are everywhere, worldwide.'' Aside from the Philippine's there's nothing quite as decadent as wondering around the night life in Thailand, completely safe and a unique experience. Its the sex capital of the world for a reason and not be missed. People spend thousands 'wasting' there money every year. Not sayings its for everyone and some of your prospective guests might well be horrified at the scene in Thailand.
  17. Haha its not like you have to get up and go to work is it?
  18. Have you seen how Thai people respect their elders, even if they are not technically right the Thai will always believe the elder before any young Thai or old falang.
  19. No Thai person with any money moves to Issan, but if you manage to make money in Issan you leave pretty quickly. Also the same way UK people giggle when you say you are going to Thailand, the driver knows that you are probably looking / or have a wife and wonders why you choose to find one in Issan. Its certainly wouldnt be a Thai persons first choice.
  20. If i see an old guy with faded navy type tattoos you can be sure for some interesting conversation and i'll make an effort to speak to them, however if they are over 40 and have tribal type tattoos i would do the opposite and not make any attempt to engage. If i meet a women / man with daft slogans or 'inspirational' quotes then again i wouldn't generally warm to them, of course there are exceptions. A women with a large back tattoo can be quite nice and i will appreciate the art and commitment to it. Why not commission an artist to draw on canvas rather than your own body, would be my thoughts if wishing to commenorate someone, you cant pass your tattoos onto anyone after you die.
  21. Quiet handy i imagine, especially when your drunk and in the take away.
  22. No not really, got drunk and had my hair dyed once but a permanent body marking is a step too far. No idea what i would have and my opinions views change over the years. I find them a good marker for the type of person that has them for eg any lady with an inspirational quote, is generally best left alone...... If your ever in Hua hin and meet lady with 'love me for who i am' on her arm.....then run a mile! Generally in life what ever people tend to project is the actual opposite of their true thoughts.
  23. Pretty sure that would be classed as stealing in Thailand. Leave it alone its nothing to do with you, would be my advise.
  24. Ive also got a couple of issues with the pavements lol. Its a cheap as chips country, not sure what you expect even the roads in UK can ruin your rims. The right turns off the dual carriageways are the most dangerous part of Thai driving, of course pot holes don't help.
