  1. Come along now, don’t start telling porkies; you didn’t know, until I told you, that Ali Bahraini had been elected to chair the UNHRC. Even then you didn’t believe me and demanded a link for verification. And you obviously didn’t know that Clinton had convened the Camp David Summit in 2000, or you wouldn’t have made your comment about him. Happy to oblige.
  2. I hadn’t mention Bill Clinton at all; you’re the one that brought him into the conversation, criticising him for as you put it, not lifting a finger towards solving the Palestinian problem. Then after I inform you about the Camp David Conference, you are suddenly rude to me and want to dismiss Clinton’s efforts because they were 23 years ago. I have never been a fan of Clinton, but he put in a lot of work (the conference spanned 2 weeks) so to say he never lifted a finger to help, again shows your overall lack of knowledge on this whole issue. Furnishing you with knowledge that you previously did not have is not gaslighting or bullying, it is edification.
  3. Blame the US if you must, but can you tell me what peace initiatives have been proposed by Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Qatar, Jordan and Syria; all administrations that would have more sway over Palestinian representatives ? Reports say the Camp David initiative got close until Yasser Arafat walked away. He later complimented Clinton by telling him "You are a great man” Clinton responded, "I am not a great man. I am a failure, and you made me one."
  4. So, you really didn’t know about the Camp David Summit that Clinton convened in 2000; if you’d known you couldn’t possibly have said “The US, in particular, Bill Clinton, were heavily involved in the Good Friday Agreement. But it seems they can't bring themselves to lift a finger towards solving the Palestine problem” Your lack of knowledge on these issues is breathtaking.
  5. This is a classic disclaimer from an apologist for terrorism … read what you said again, and think about what actually happened on 7th October 2023. "By all accounts"
  6. I suppose the Camp David Summit, convened by Clinton in 2000, bringing together Barak and Arafat, is something else, like the appointment of Ali Bahraini to chair the UNHRC, that escaped your attention. Your profound lack of knowledge about issues pertaining to the ME, probably explains why you just post sensationalist slogans, nonsense, and conspiracy theories ….. “not having any Arab ancestry in any recent potus doesn’t help their cause” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  7. We might possibly have some agreement regarding the UN, insomuch as I was only using the Ali Bahreini appointment to highlight the impotency and meaninglessness of that corrupt organisation. The UN was originally conceived as a well intended organisation, but it has morphed into a pointless relic. The UN Security Council comprises of 15 countries,10 of which are rotating members, with 5 permanent members. Any of the five permanent members, the USA, Russia, France, China, and the UK, can veto any resolution put forward even if the other 14 members support it. In the last couple of years, Russia has vetoed 4 resolutions regarding Ukraine, and China vetos any resolution regarding their illegal expansionism in the South China sea. As you say, the UN are unable to bring any real pressure to bear on Israel (or on Hamas, although they aren’t even attempting that) … they remain a corrupt, biased, paradox of their founding charter.
  8. I have not edited his comment, merely replied to a quoted section, which is commonplace on this forum; so stop getting angry on behalf of someone else ……. I bet you could take all the fun out of a bouncy castle.
  9. So, you now know about the appointment of Ali Bahreini, something which you astonishingly didn’t know about an hour ago; and now you expect me to explain to you the irony of appointing the Ambassador of Iran to chair a UNHRC social forum …..
  10. Oh no, another victim of Harvey Weinstein
  11. Why are you trolling me ? You hijacked a reply that I made to another poster telling me that he asked for a link and that DYOR was not acceptable. The information about the appointment of Ali Bahreini has been all over every news outlet about the ME. That notwithstanding, I supplied a link to confirm something that both yourself and he should have already known, and because you don’t like the confirmation, you call it projecting garbage. I was only supplying what you asked for.
  12. Did I say the UN is one man ? you were obviously doubting that Ali Bahreini had been appointed to chair the UNHRC, and I have provided a link that is not behind a paywall. Astonishing that you didn’t already know this. Obviously another one on here with no interest in the issues of the ME.

  15. Would that be the shelling of the al-Ahli hospital that you are referring to ?
  16. Are you saying that you actually did not know that Ali Bahreini, Ambassador of Iran had been appointed to chair the 2023, UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) Social forum. It is well publicised common knowledge. I can find a link if you really can't confirm it yourself. Amazed however, that you didn’t know.
  17. This would be the same UN that recently appointed Ali Bahreini, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, to chair the 2023 United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) Social Forum. The same UN whose UN Women, made no condemnation whatsoever of the multiple rapes, mutilations and slaughtering of Israeli women by Palestinians on 7th October, until very recently when they were forced to do so under International pressure.
  18. Now tell us all that you’re not antisemitic; go on, it will make you feel better, and a warm feeling of impartiality will wash over you; but it won’t fool anyone else.
  19. Still proud of being an antisemitic racist, eh, Jeffrey; what a hero you are; don’t know where you find so much online (anonymous) courage from ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  20. Neeranan .... shot with your own gun ......
  21. Absolutely; there has been a deafening silence from “ Me Too” and the appalling, and utterly pointless “UN Women” had to be cajoled and pressurised into finally making a statement of condemnation.
  22. The glaringly obvious bias of Al Jazeera exposed once again; this is why it is the go to news source for all the Hamas fanboys on here.
  23. What a remarkably ignorant comment; how can his comment possibly be racist, when neither Islam, or muslims are a race. You obviously don’t have the faintest idea whet racism actually is, even though you are from a country where the indigenous people have suffered racism for decades.
  24. I can’t read it. I have anti-woke, and anti-Guardian security software installed on all my devices; but I’m sure it will have got you salivating into yer Tinnie.
  25. Hilarious, a very compelling article from the woke, fanatically left-wing, anti-British, anti-US, anti-Israel, comic, the Guardian. Was it that smug little Hamas fanboy Owen Jones ? …… you antipodeans are easily compelled Danny.
