I’m sure it will, which is why Hams hides behind its civilian population, and builds its command centres under hospitals, schools, and nurseries; anyone that understands the ideology of Hamas knows that they actively want more Palestinian civilians killed, especially children. It is a war crime to place military installations in, or under, any such facilities, but it should be obvious to even their most ardent supporters that this is a deliberate act and they care not a jot for the poor terrified civilians whose welfare they are responsibility for.

I have seen a lot of comments on this thread defending, excusing, deflecting, and even trying to justify the atrocities carried out by the terrorist government of Gaza, Hamas; but you are saying that Israeli civilians were possibly not killed on 7/10, but the accusation was said over and over again to make it true. And you had the temerity to start your comment with “in fairness” …. after which you then proceeded to promote yourself as the thread’s number one apologist for Hamas. shame on you.

The tunnels are in Gaza, nowhere near Hezbollah, who are located in southern Lebanon.

You only added this line to try and kid everyone that you have a sense of impartiality. Who in their right mind would think that people who cut open a pregnant woman while she was still alive and removed her unborn baby, beheaded it in front of her and then beheaded her, would be willing to give full access to ICC investigators … you either think we are all gullible enough to be fooled by your obvious ploy, or you exist in a parallel dimension.

You have posted countless comments either supporting, excusing, justifying or deflecting from the terrorism of Hamas. Some of your earlier comments were slightly more considered and nuanced, but now accusing Israel of wanting the genocide of the Palestinian people, you seem to have completely abandoned any earlier pretence of balance. You thus expose yourself as a supporter of the terrorism of Hamas. You will no doubt reply with some false equivalence of Israel being terrorists, because it seems to be the only methodology you use when defending Hamas.

Hamas are a terrorist organisation, nothing more, nothing less; they care nothing whatsoever for the civilian population of Gaza, and anyone that supports them is either an unequivocal supporter of terrorism, or educationally sub-normal; possibly both.

Douglas Murray is a well respected intellectual, and this particular book has received worldwide acclaim and excellent reviews; one small example is an unusually high score of 4.7 out of 5 on Amazon, from over 6,000 customer reviews. I haven’t looked at the review you posted, because unlike yourself I have read the book and formed my own opinion; I assume this is a bad review, so you must have deliberately searched for a bad review of the book, rather than an objective one. This is no surprise and it neatly summarises the process that you use when responding; contradiction, cheap cliches, derision, sensationalism, and loaded questions are your tools of choice rather than an intellectual engagement, and you wonder why nobody on this forum takes you seriously.

If you read his book “The Strange Death Of Europe” you might not think so; however, you won’t find it in the fiction department, so you may not be able to locate it.

All casualty figures from Gaza come from the Gaza Health Authority, irrespective of where they are eventually published. They are under the strict control of Hamas. I am not trying to deny that thousands have been killed in Gaza, but it is difficult to give the numbers they report any credence, given that Hamas (successfully) manipulate them for propaganda purposes. Remember they claimed the hospital had been bombed by Israel, and that 500 had been killed; both of these statements have been proved to be utterly false, so difficult to believe anything they say.

And where do Al Jazeera / UNICEF get those figures from ...... think carefully Jeff, because you won't like the answer
