I know the website pretty well and I know of the 3 forms:
1. Application form
2. Self Guarantee form
3. Payment details form
I suppose I would have to include a photocopy of our marriage cert to qualify for a Non O multi. Anything else they need?
PS Never occurred to me of a postal strike. I would be totally buggered if that happened. So near, yet so far!!

OK. Thanks to all above.
It seems that the general concensus is that they deal with it immediately and will be back within 2-3 days. Excellent!!
I presume everyone used the GPO's 'Next Day' delivery service?
-
Wow!! They literally must open the envelope, stick a visa in your pp and then throw it back in the post!!

What was this guy doing on a cliff at 3am anyways?
Falling off it

Thanks, Mick. But when you say 24 hours, you can't mean you posted it on a Monday morning and got it back on the Tuesday morning??!!!!!

Thanks Kan Win. It certainly looks the long way round on a map, but on returning to Bangkok from HH, there are sometimes horrendous jams to get onto the expressway at Dao Khanong toll booths, and passing the port exit is also snarled up woth lorries etc. May use the new ring road on the way back.

Hi all
Am off to the UK soon to get a new Non Immigrant 'O' multiple entry from Hull. If I use special delivery (next day) post as recommended by them and post the application on, say a Saturday, from Heathrow T2 Post Office, when should it be back on my doorstep? Is Wednesday realistic or too short? I will only be there for 7-8 days.
I will be posting as I don't live anywhere near Hull (or any Thai consulate for that matter!).
Any posting stories or experiences are greatly appreciated (even from Birmingham, Liverpool, Cardiff or Glasgow)

I suffered from it for years and years. I got both my legs amputated below the knee. No problems now!!

A very sad day indeed. Condolences to the Royal Family. Long live the king!!

I live near The Mall, Bangkapi and anytime I drive to Hua Hin, I always use the expressways (entered at SC Park Hotel Lat Phrao, changed to another expressway, over the Rama 9 bridge and exited onto Rama 2 Rd). From enter to exit it usually takes about 30-35 mins.
Would it be quicker for me to use the new ring road, entering at Ramkhamhaeng Rd and exiting at the Rama 2/Kanchanaphisek intersection?
Thanks for any help.

Well, well. This piece of shit has evaded the law and it's all forgotten about now. I'm still monitoring the scummy cuntbag, though

True. Non O (multi) DO NOT need onward tickets.

Police retrieve Bt2million more of the stolen money
BANGKOK: -- Police Sunday retrieved more than Bt2 million from the robbery of the Siam Administrative Management Co (Samco) armoured car.
The robbery took place on November 29.
Police took one suspect, Anont Puangamphai, to retrieve the money he hid at a resort near Mae Chan Dam in Phetchaburi's Nong Ya Plong district.
He had spent only Bt200 out of Bt2,077,100 to buy a cash card for his mobile phone.
Police recovered all but Bt1 million of the Bt18 million stolen.
Anont, Wanlop Soisong, Suriya Painarin, Bundit Theungnok and Prakrit Thongtang re-enacted their crime Sunday.

Now, where do you think that went to?

IGNORED AS USUAL BY THE MODERATORS except when some posts have been edited or deleted. I have mentioned a few times the topic of special posts with recent visa applications but have never had a reply. Please reply even if it is to tell me to fuc_k OFF

An unusual place to apply, but worthy of note.
Thanks
OK then Astral; what about a special post with the latest reports from visa applicants? Have a section for Non B, Non O, TVs applications from each consulate/embassy. The poster must state:
* what paperwork is needed
* the time factor
* the cost
* the outcome
* helpfulness and manners of staff
Say, no more than the 5 most recent posts in each country (OK maybe 10 for Penang, Sing and KL as they are so popular).
Just a thought

As long as patrol cars and real and efficient policemen are not commonly seen, it's all but a dream.

By monthly income, I presume you are talking about a pension and not from employment?
