    There are many bars and restaurants without anywhere near full occupancy in the main eating and drinking evening hours. Tour groups, especially chinese ones don't spend money eating and drinking as their meals are pre paid in China, as well as their visits to attractions.

    The tourist summed it up perfectly, everything is for s**e in Thailand because they don't give a stuff about the image of the country, only how much money they can make through criminal activity. It's all, me, me, me

    I doubt a single tourist complained at all. How would a tourist know what was allowed and what wasn't. Simply an excuse for a clean up, as a earlier poster suggested it will all return sooner rather than later.

    My understanding is that it's British policy that if a citizen dies here in Thailand an autopsy has to be performed before the death certificate can be issued and the body released to next of kin, if any. At least that's my experience, sadly.

    If you buy LG or Samsung they have their own service technicians who will install for you and consequently service them. I bought my LGs on Lazada from the official LG store and then had them installed by LG.

    The gold shop in my BigC has a armed uniformed policeman on duty every day, here in Roi Et. So you know where to see one if you so desire. It's the same in most places near where I live, Yasothon etc

    Absolutely shocking. I have to say those vans are usually speeding well above the limit on my local dual carriageway here in Isaan.

    There is going to be alot of worried teachers then if they do crack down, as all the ones I know of, ain't got a permit. Having said that, we've heard all this before.

    I am collecting my new passport in 2 weeks and I shall be updating my banking information with all 3 banks I have accounts with. My 90 day is not due until late February and I shall ask for the visa extension to be transferred to the new passport then. I'll update if there are any difficulties encountered.

    I fail to understand why anyone would want to hire a motorcycle/scooter with all the above reported issues. Not to mention riding in a country with one of the worlds worst death and injury rates.

    No excuse for not doing it before Sunday as if you do it a day late you are opening up a potential whole world of pain if the unsympathetic IO got out a bed the wrong side etc and decides you are persona non grata.

    Only 80. I think that's a typo as there should be at least another zero or maybe two after the eight.
