'Big Joke' Unveils Vision for new Police Commander position
Oh dear, it seems BJ is promoting his agenda to be on the short list and appears to be conforming to the well trodden path of collecting his dues. After all the chinese actress did say on being whisked from the airport to her hotel with motorcycle outrider's, that everything is for sale in Thailand..

Police and Local Authorities Ensure Peace at Pattaya Beach
Another photo op joke. The word thorough and city hall officials and the BiB is incompatible...

Prayut says he will just be an ordinary citizen with his family after retirement
He was a extraordinarily incompetent PM.

The days of military coups in Thailand are gone : Sutin
What an absurd statement. With a long history of coups it won't be long before the next one is upon the nation. The army are dinosaurs and only know one thing as we have continually witnessed. They have zero credentials to run a country as we see time and again not only here but around the world. It's merely a trough feeding exercise with absolutely no benefit to the citizens at large.

£10,000 for a tourist visa now? Part 2.
So much for Thailand's digital 4.0 policy,an absolutely disgraceful situation. I would write letters to the Embassy and in particular the Ambassador showing him how disgraceful his country is being portrayed to potential tourists and the reputational damage this is having.

Thailand Sentences 7 to Jail for Protesting Myanmar Coup
How about prosecuting those that introduced the Emergency decree... Another blow to freedom of speech.

Thailand just chose a prime minister. He’s not the one people voted for
Another sad day for Thailand and democracy with 20m or so voters disenfranchised and the cronies steal their way back into power by dealing with the incompetent army Muppets who were kicked out by the electorate.

Marriage extensions - Kror Ror 22 copy needs to be recent?
At my IO it has to be dated the same day as the application.

Poll respondents disagree with Pheu Thai’s “government of reconciliation”
There is no such thing as reconciliation with the old dinosaurs, who by there very actions are stealing the election from the countries future who voted in huge numbers to get them out. Dancing with military devil is not the way forward but is harking back to their illegitimate regime of 10 years. Unfortunately the corrupt practices and past are all that really count.

Mochit Bus Terminal to Sukhumvit Rd
I've done the walk through the park too. Not for money reasons but for exercise after 8 hours on a bus, unless of course it's raining and then I get a taxi to my hotel.

What's so good about Thailand?
Living here beats the hell out of living in the UK, which is why I am now in my 15th year in Thailand.

Retirement visa from an agent
Paying 18k for a 1 year extension is I'm my opinion a very good deal. I know people who pay over 20k. Last week I met a Swiss guy, completely clueless about visas who told me he paid 23k for a 3 month TV...

Non o multi London, wrong name.
Except the dim witted IO is Thai and will gleefully point out the error and barr you entry.

How to buy better fitting clothes/shirts here in Thailand or generally as a man?
There are plenty of Thai tailors that make made to measure shirts for less than 2000 baht. Especially in Pattaya.
-
Non-O Multi - Is NOT getting an extension of stay frowned upon?
My marriage extensions take between 1.5-2 hours, certainly not all day as you suggest.
-
What do you look for in a hotel?
A quiet night time location and free parking are my top 2. E.g, April Suites in Pattaya. Budget between 800 - 1500 per night inclusive. Obviously clean with good housekeeping and staff.

Registration renewal refused
Additional private car insurance is not required to renew your annual road registration, the compulsory government insurance is issued and paid for at the same time as the new 1 year windscreen sticker.

Thai Private Sector Seeks Help As Chinese Products Flood Market
That's what happens when you deal with the devil.

Student barred from classes over political disagreements with school teacher
Another example of a Neanderthal in the schools of Thailand which is why the completely useless rote system is still in use. These people don't teach they preach and preach utter nonsense.
-
Charter Court refuses to consider rejection of Pita’s renomination as PM
Another fine example of corrupt junta appointed cronies foiling the will of the people to keep the guilty in power.
-
Political parties decry government’s change of subsidy for Thai senior citizens
Absolutely outrageous and these military Muppets and their billionaire cronies know no shame when it comes to their contempt for the lives of ordinary citizens. Meanwhile they waste billions on submarines with no engines and other army boys toys.

How much monthly salary should you pay for rescuing a bar girl?
I know plenty of girls here in Isaan who work for local businesses and they get nowhere near 30k a month. Most Thai people manage on half that and many more on less and keep a family together. For example their electricity bills are often 500 baht a month or less running 1 fridge and 1 TV and some lighting. A bank manager with a University degree will be making 35 - 45k a month or thereabouts depending on seniority, to put in some perspective.

Pedo teacher sexually assaults students under 15 years old, marries one pupil
Absolutely disgraceful behaviour again from people who allow children to be repeated victims. No accountability anywhere in Thailand. They should all be locked up.

Corruption watchdog to appeal order to publish reports on Prawit’s wristwatch scandal
No doubt anyththing published from the grossly incompetent and corrupt NACC would expose just how bad they are at their jobs by protecting the guilty. How can they even possibly over rule a Supreme court decision...
