  1. "The quality of education does not always mean good grades." That is actually a true statement but........

Obviously these administrators have no concept that these kids may want to or need to go to college where in that case,

it's only about grades and not what you know.

Buy the grades or if not cheat.

What is this government doing for the people? bah.gif

  2. About 36 per cent of samples contained a level of glutamic acid relative to nitrogen that was higher than the standard, and about 9.1 per cent of samples had a level that was lower than standard.

Still confused about what this means.

They put too much MSG in the fish sauce? Great...... Never new there was a "safe" legal level for MSG in anything in Thailand.

Who has read the labels of bottled sauces sold in stores? I have. Essentially none are without MSG. I buy Kikoman soy sauce, made in Japan, because it doesn't have MSG.

Thais are to healthy foods what redwoods are to coral reefs. They're miles apart.

The soy sauce that has the boat on the label does not have MSG and also states it's non-GMO. that's the only one I buy and I never use whatever they serve in the local raan ahaans.

  3. almost sounds like a case of spyware that got installed in your browser somewhere if it keeps going back to the same results. FF recommends ADW Cleaner which does work,.

I recommend just to be sure : RogueKiller and Combofix were amazing, the others are just good. Dr Web is hard to beat too.

I"ve also used the duckduckgo search engine with the superbird browser, i have no idea how good the results are, is does work.

    FixMebRoot

    FRST.exe

    RogueKiller

    combofix

    winlogoncf

    ccleaner is always good

Dr Web free scan and cleaner is awesome.

    spybot search and destroy

    malwarebytes.

  4. "They are working because there are opportunities to do so, opportunities provided from a general capacity for foreign nationals to have greater social mobility. This is the world as it stands in 2013. Why they are working is an easy question to answer, why Thailand makes it so difficult for foreign workers to work legally is another."

Thailand makes it very easy for foreign nationals to legally work - much easier than other countries make for Thai nationals to do the same. If people want to work without visa/work permit here then, perhaps they should contact their own governments at home and tell them to introduce laws that allow Thai nationals to get an easy visa and work was they wish in that country

While I'm at it, perhaps I'll recommend my government make laws that says the price of admission to any museum / national park / national landmark be the same price for all nationalities except the Thais. They get to pay the special 'Thai price' to get into anything in my country, same way I have to pay the 'farang price,' which does not actually mean 'non-Thai.' It just means 'non-East Asian' and is a completely racist term and mindset.

Again, someone who doesn't get out and about very much. Lower Thai admission price hardly unusual. If you go to Disney World in CA, you pay a discounted admission price by simply producing your DL to prove you live in Orange County.

Same, same. Hardly uncommon all over the world - residents often pay less than tourists.

are you saying that if I go to a Thai national park and show my Thai driver's license, my work permit, my marriage certificate, my Thai children I'm going to pay the Thai price? you're dreaming. Now Nonthaburi residents with an ED visa have to get fingerprinted in Bangkok every 90 days in addition to verifying your address. So much for being a local.

  5. Interesting that a Facebook page was created on Saturday with this headline:

Thoughts Go Out To All Those Involved In The Boston Explosions

the same thing happened with Sandy Hook, the pages were made before the event.

These are just facts, not some conspiracy theory.

Yes the same thing "happened" with Sandy Hook, and that was also proven to be a load of nonsense.

Can you share that it was proven to be total nonsense, or are you just trolling?

Would you back up what you said with facts please?

  6. I noticed on the news that a lot of these flipped over in a ditch cars look like very brand new "first buyer" get a rebate from the government cars.

many of them have red license plates. There is no emphasis on driver education here. People have to wait until they are adults

to get a license rather than a learner's permit and learn to drive with an experienced driver. <----ridiculous assumption noted

I have a friend the failed her test 3 times and when asked how much experience she has driving, her response was 10 hours. blink.png

  7. I don't know if it's just me, but I'm seeing a lot of burned down places all over Bangkok lately. Most of these places are shacks and people that sell something on the street and live right behind their "businesses". There is no easier way to have people have to relocate than by destroying their homes. I know it sounds cynical, but I travel Rama III quite a bit and number of fires lately I've been seeing lately is concerning.

  8. This is no surprise. What does surprise me is that buses have been bought/acquired already.

are you kidding? the more they spend the more they can put in their pockets.

what's amazing to me is that they fear the tuk tuk and taxi drivers. what a bunch of children, both of them.

I guess the tuk tuk and taxi drivers know if they do something nothing will happen to them, so I guess it

would make sense to fear someone that knows there will be no consequence.

  9. someone doesn't know squat about arthritis or osteoporosis. Arthritis is not from heavy usage of the joints, how many times a day can someone squat, unless of course they are having a meeting. This deterioration of the joints and bones is from eating too much protein. will it be good for tourists? absolutely. but to blame poor joints on squatting pans is nothing short of ridiculous.
