  1. OP, good advice above. Just note the reentry permit desk is just to left side of immigration lines. Zone 2 just after security check.. At BKK you obtain reentry permit prior to passport control and at DMK the permit desk is just after passport control.
  2. That won't work. Reentry permit is done at different desks. The extension you are doing is done L desks. Remember to print out your appointment for extension. Assuming you are aware that reentry permit can be obtain at airport on day of departure. At Bangkok airports they offer (not compulsory) a service to fill in TM8, photo etc 200b EDIT: I just tried to make booking for reentry permit on dec 23. No problem , but only two slots 8.30 and 1pm. You must get extension first so 1pm. Best option is airport
  3. The appointments are in December I just posted ..... "At that time (yesterday) 7 days of appointments available in December" You have 3 threads running on TM47 with you as the OP. You can either... 1. Make an appointment 2. Just attend CW and wait in line 3. Skip the report and at some point be prepared to pay 2000b
  4. I posted earlier screenshot of making appointment for 90 report at CW. At that time (yesterday) 7 days of appointments available in December With an appointment you are seen Instantly. Process time 5 minutes.
  5. A TM30 would only be required when attending immigration for some certain reasons.
  6. Immigration will not check for TM47 when exit Thailand.
  7. Correct. I'm not about to read all my previous posts. If you are currently outside of Thailand and wish to enter visa exempt via airport then you can arrange safe entry with agent. Current thread running.. If currently in Thailand then check with border bounce minivan company
  8. Almost asking how much the dentist will hurt. With a que ticket you will be seen on that day. 90 report can be very busy. If you are too busy you can skip it and pay 2k baht fine next time you have business with immigration. Example extension etc
  9. Here is link to thread discussing Will. https://aseannow.com/topic/1329171-thai-last-will-and-testament-question/ Thinking Will good idea especially if you have/use an FD account. As pointed out earlier if using "income method" you can set it up so there is very little money in your account.
  10. You can make a Will in Thailand specific to your Thai assets. The obvious one being bank account especially if using money in bank method. Alternatively use income method and that ensures funds in account for immigration has almost zero balance.
  11. It won't be CW. That turn around for 90 report via post is not processed in that timeframe at CW
  12. I will continue with what (suits) works for us. One slip in 12 years I'm ok with. As it turns out, I won't need to start over. Anything else useful..
  13. Guessing you had history and entering visa exempt. Granted not cheap but peace of mind hard to put price on that.
  14. Cost? Also was it just to avoid que or also smooth process entering visa exempt?
  15. That is of no use for immigration purposes. The bank statements (if required) must be from bank and stamped, signed etc. Frankly I don't understand why folk use BBL. Kasikorn along with most banks can provide 12 month bank statement on the spot. Also K bank are one of the three banks that do not have to 50k limit for WISE.
  16. My situation very similar. My main reason to change to income method is to allow for minimal balance in my savings account. The monthly transfers hit my bank (using WISE) and instantly transferred to Thai partner account. If hit by bus there is minimal funds in bank (locked up) I have nothing here in Thailand in my name.. Car, properties etc all in Thai partner name. Yes we are off topic however good opportunity to remind expats to have plans in place re probate. Even more so if not married.
  17. The thread is about 90 day reporting. My screenshot shows Dec 19-27 all days available Your post shows appointment page for "extension visa for teachers students....."
  18. Yes. One tip: when you close the BBL (CM) account keep the bank book (even though closed) Prior to my most recent extension (Nov 5) I had used 2 accounts. One savings 400k plus and one FD 400k + both with Kasikorn. I cancelled the FD during the minimum 400k period. Anyway...on application for my extension (Nov 5). I provided bank statements for both accounts. The issue: immigration not happy I could not provide the bank book for the FD account. No applicable to you as both your bank accounts have 800k Pointing out the issue for others.
  19. I find the opposite is the case. You consolidate any income streams, pensions, rents etc into one bank account in home country. Use WISE for periodic transfer each month. I transfer on 15 of every month 120k. Right now the AU exchange is poor so be it. The two main disadvantages of money in bank method is opportunity cost and money being locked in bank if owner passes. Moreso for unmarried folk. Yes can make a Will. The other consideration is that even if using money in bank method., you still need to transfer money every month to live off. To each their own.
  20. I'm actually going to do 3 months after 800k and maintain 400k then back up to 800k two months prior to next extension. Also continue with the monthly transfers Just to have all bases covered.
  21. I'm also changing to income method (65k/month) the io at CW made it very clear ..yes can change showing 12 monthly transfers however MUST maintain the 800k for 3 months after current extension approved.
  22. Perhaps they have changed again. I made back to back appointments for Nov 5. Most likely made the appointments couple of weeks prior. One for 90 report. One for extension retirement. No confirmation emails sent Edit: just read post from @klauskunkel . Seems you can request email. I just screenshot the booking slot.
  23. Trolling post removed
