  1. Question answered. Thread closed
  2. Immigration offices vary on what they want re map Example, for CW just a hand drawn map showing location of condo/house with street name and to closest main intersection. Certainly not map from dwelling to immigration office. Some want more. Check with your immigration office
  3. It sounds like playing semantics however....the visa is not extended. It was used long ago. You have been extending your permission of stay every 12 months. Correct. Provided you have not previously used the 60 day extension to visit wife then you can do that prior to Jan 25. Here is old thread however still applies. ubonjoe first reply points out wife must accompany you and what's required. https://aseannow.com/topic/1130123-re-60-day-extension-to-visit-your-wife/
  4. I realize that you are obtaining non O MARRIAGE however for future when 50+ the Non O retirement does not have retirement being necessary. One condition is No work in Thailand. The requirement is over the age of 50. One example is roster workers eg oil gas. Some of those guys use extensions from non O retirement
  5. Yes. To obtain the non O marriage from visa exempt entry you use form TM87. You need to find out about work permit. Here is thread outlines process from visa exempt to non O marriage+ subsequent 12 month extension. https://aseannow.com/topic/1328106-marriage-visa-from-visa-exempt/
  6. Can I delete my post. Overlooked the fat OP has a job. OP, disregard my post suggesting non O retirement
  7. Yes. The link to instructions I posted earlier. TM30 is not mentioned in mail option however you do need to have done a TM30 (change of address) Note must be mailed 15 days prior to due date. I use two B4 envelopes.
  8. The first thing to understand is the difference between Visa and extension of stay. A non O marriage can be obtained at various embassies/consulates. Can also be obtained in Thailand from a visa exempt entry or tourist visa entry. The single entry visa is "used" upon entry and provides a 90 day. Same as a non O obtained at your immigration office. It's important to note that if the non O is obtained in Thailand the immigration office where you obtain the non O is where you must apply for your first extension. Subsequent extensions can be at different imm office and you need to file TM30 (change of address) Are you over 50? Given your unusual situation with wife working south and you Rayong etc You could consider non O retirement+extensions and use an agent.
  9. Airport a good idea. You most likely aware that at BKK the reentry permit desk is just to left side of immigration lines Zone 2. Immigration offer an optional 200b service fee for doing the application. Photo etc
  10. I'm leaning towards do the transfer prior to travel. Assume child does not have reentry permit in current pp. Transfer of stamps for those on extensions retirement/marriage are done at L desk. Seems far more difficult for you dealing with N desks
  11. A Non O obtained inside Bangkok is visa providing a 90 day stamp. Most folk would then apply for a 12 month extension in the last 30 days of the 90 day stamp. That would require 400k in Thai bank account in your name only and seasoned for 2 months OR monthly transfers of 40k. Some folk need more time to organize the funds and that is the other extension available to a non O is 60 day extension to visit wife. To exit Thailand and reenter you would need to obtain a Reentry Permit. Single or multiple.
  12. The visa you refer to as "Thai wife Visa" What visa do you have. Thinking a multiple entry non O based on marriage. Where did you obtain the visa?
  13. Child needs to be present is my understanding. You mention CW. Is that where stamps were issued? I was under impression your immigration office was Rayong. In any event why not wait till time for next extension and do the transfer then.
  14. OP, you are thinking of drive through CM. If attending in person you are advised to make an appointment. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/ You will need a TM30 for change of address from CM (according to your previous thread you have that already. In future you could consider report via mail. Needs to be done 15 days prior to due date. Here is link to TM47 options. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=1666
  15. He has an appointment for application Wednesday at Canadian embassy Bangkok
  16. It would seem you obtained a multiple entry visa based on marriage. ME Non O. If that's the case you can exit Thailand and if reenter prior to Jan 25 you will be stamped in for 90 days.
  17. 12 days. That's fast. I renewed my Oz pp March and from post application to embassy in Bangkok to delivery on new pp (mail) it was 20 days. I was impressed.
  18. Folks on extensions from a non O based on marriage can work. However the OP has very limited time remaining on his current permission of stay. He thinks a few photos is sufficient. I have posted threads with links to required docs. It's not even clear if wife can attend immigration for 12 month extension. His options have been outlined in the thread.
  19. Did you even read links I posted of required documents for 12 months extension. Clearly NOT. Im done with this thread.
  20. If you have not previously used your 60 day extension to visit wife then yes that's possible. Wife will need attend immigration. .
  21. Bickering posts if continue thread will be closed
  22. A border border bounce involves exiting Thailand. (Guessing your use term "out of the territory") If you reenter Thailand visa exempt you can obtain a non O based on marriage at Rayong immigration with 15 days remaining on permission of stay.
  23. Baiting post removed
  24. Guessing your plan is to do the application Wednesday at Canadian embassy and obviously seeking any advice at the same time. When you receive new and old passports back the new pp will have a "issued date" At the worst case where your permission of stay has expired prior you can face small overstay fine at airport and return no problem visa exempt and start over with new non O at local immigration office. Good luck
  25. From your OP it seems that you have had uninterrupted permission of stay. You don't need a non O ....your extensions have been from that multi non O you obtained some time ago. 8 days won't be enough time (imo) to obtain your 12 month extension. Yes plenty of minivan companies do runs from eg Pattaya to Cambodia. That's a thread in itself and one currently being discussed re Cambodia. Just one person's opinion....I would consider the border bounce prior to Dec 17 with agent. 60 days + 60 extension to visit wife. That gives you 4 months to plan. Obtain the non O from Rayong immigration. Heaps of threads on that.
