  1. Which country is passport? This thread has some posts listing required documents for 12 month extension based on marriage. https://aseannow.com/topic/1337120-what-are-docs-required-for-non-o-married-extension-please/
  2. You are referring to 12 month extension based on marriage. Does your embassy prove "income letter"?
  3. USA citizens have to and seems Canadians also. Ridiculous. Certainly AU you do NOT send passport with application.
  4. I renewed my AU pp earlier this year. Despite fact it expires in 2026. Done completely online. Existing passport is NOT sent to Oz embassy Bangkok with application. Granted you have to visit post office. Not need to even visit Embassy.
  5. Personally I would not take the chance. At very least would be talking to folk at your embassy. Check info on emergency pp. Reading Toronto times seems postal services have been down since Nov 15. So how quickly they return is guess work. Easy for Oz folk (only 9 hr direct flight) to suggest you fly home prior to Jan 7. However that's an option. It's ridiculous that USA and Canadians have to send the physical current pp..
  6. That's exactly what I thought and booked TM47 first followed by the 12 month extension retirement. Went to the TM47 desk and she sent me off to obtain the extension first. My appointment was Nov 5 and permit expired Nov 8.
  7. Needless to say that you're in bad situation. Have you applied for the passport renewal? Meaning already sent your existing pp with application
  8. Seasoning not required. Seems at this point you haven't looked into much detail of DTV requirements. Here is link https://www.thaievisa.go.th/visa/dtv-visa The other option ongoing is living in Thailand is to obtain a non O marriage and subsequent 12 month extensions. The issue for you with this is international travel. From your current visa exempt entry you can obtain a 30 day extension + a 60 day extension "to visit wife" That gives flexibility to when you apply for the non O at local immigration office. Keep in mind there is a home visit for some offices and under consideration period. Of course you can also obtain the non O at Thai embassies/consulates I mentioned in another thread that a young guy I met obtained his DTV while in UK and obtained it in 3-4 days. Like you all his work is online, however he is employed by UK company. As you are positioned for first category DTV and not "soft power" options, seems good fit for you. DTV cannot be obtained within Thailand.
  9. One month in advance. I had back to back appointments CW Nov 5. Note: do the permit extension first followed by the TM47 Appointment link https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/
  10. I posted a search in another thread yesterday for 90 day report. Appointment link https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/
  11. From point 5 on immigration notes on TM47 via mail... "The above mentioned documents (1-5) must be sent by registered mail before the renewal date 15 days to Immigration Office in local area" Link: https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/90days-report/
  12. That's why (for others) never allow anyone to staple anything into your pp.. Also it's not permitted.
  13. For my first 12 years I had never made one TM30. Extensions based on retirement dealing with CW. For my most recent extension I had my condo office me a TM30 as seemed required. Never do one after local and international travel. As usual immigration offices vary.
  14. OP, good advice above. Just note the reentry permit desk is just to left side of immigration lines. Zone 2 just after security check.. At BKK you obtain reentry permit prior to passport control and at DMK the permit desk is just after passport control.
  15. That won't work. Reentry permit is done at different desks. The extension you are doing is done L desks. Remember to print out your appointment for extension. Assuming you are aware that reentry permit can be obtain at airport on day of departure. At Bangkok airports they offer (not compulsory) a service to fill in TM8, photo etc 200b EDIT: I just tried to make booking for reentry permit on dec 23. No problem , but only two slots 8.30 and 1pm. You must get extension first so 1pm. Best option is airport
  16. The appointments are in December I just posted ..... "At that time (yesterday) 7 days of appointments available in December" You have 3 threads running on TM47 with you as the OP. You can either... 1. Make an appointment 2. Just attend CW and wait in line 3. Skip the report and at some point be prepared to pay 2000b
  17. I posted earlier screenshot of making appointment for 90 report at CW. At that time (yesterday) 7 days of appointments available in December With an appointment you are seen Instantly. Process time 5 minutes.
  18. A TM30 would only be required when attending immigration for some certain reasons.
  19. Immigration will not check for TM47 when exit Thailand.
  20. Correct. I'm not about to read all my previous posts. If you are currently outside of Thailand and wish to enter visa exempt via airport then you can arrange safe entry with agent. Current thread running.. If currently in Thailand then check with border bounce minivan company
  21. Almost asking how much the dentist will hurt. With a que ticket you will be seen on that day. 90 report can be very busy. If you are too busy you can skip it and pay 2k baht fine next time you have business with immigration. Example extension etc
  22. Here is link to thread discussing Will. https://aseannow.com/topic/1329171-thai-last-will-and-testament-question/ Thinking Will good idea especially if you have/use an FD account. As pointed out earlier if using "income method" you can set it up so there is very little money in your account.
