  1. Seems that you had a single entry non O and at some point obtained a 60 day extension to visit wife. You cannot obtain another.. If the funds are an issue you could "start over" Do a border bounce without reentry permit and then 60 day extension to visit wife (if required) that gives 60 + 60 days. Then obtain non O marriage at your local immigration office with 400k in your Thai bank account
  2. Which soft power options are you opting for
  3. Thinking forum will appreciate your follow up experience. Please update after you reenter with your DVT. I'm jealous old guy on annual extensions.
  4. You will need to exit Thailand to Cambodia and reenter Thailand after expiry of reentry permit to activate DTV. Out of interest for others., What category for DVT did you chose
  5. Admire the good intentions. You won't receive an explanation.
  6. There are few guys on AseanNow that have Permanent Resident status. Also some that have Thai citizenship. You haven't had replies. Hopefully someone can post first hand experience.
  7. I also didn't follow the post you quoted. To activate the DTV he would need exit Thailand again to Cambodia without reentry permit and reenter Thailand with the DTV. Perhaps current reentry permit is single reentry.
  8. I just tried to make appointment for retirement extension (it's not a "retirement visa application") No problem Dec 16....10am. All that was required in link above was email address for them to send OTP.
  9. So you obtained a non O eVisa and received a 90 day stamp on entry? BTW: it's not visa renewal. You are wanting a 12 month extension to your permission of stay. What happened when you tried to use appointment link? https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/
  10. Similarly, my monthly transfer, via WISE is done on 1st each month, and I specify the amount of Baht to be transferred, not the originating currency, thus avoiding any variations That's very important for folk transferring close to the minimum 65k. Just a guess, but I think most expats transfer much more, so never danger of dipping below 65k baht. As for the OP, I suggest 12 month bank statement best option. 200 baht.
  11. Off topic post removed. Thread running off topic.
  12. How often has your pp been checked specifically for TM47 receipt. It's not even in pp unless you keep it there..
  13. My reply was to the OP. He overlooked doing the 90 report. Can happen. He will be fined 2k. He can do the report anytime. Even wait till next extension or any other business with immigration..eg COR etc
  14. While having a dedicated account for immigration purposes is a good idea I don't understand any inconvenience to immigration. My monthly transfers are done 15th of every month. Similar amount each month. Variations due to exchange rate. In addition to needing funds for various reasons such as medical, car purchase etc etc....it make sense to transfer into same account.
  15. Where did that idea come from. Many folk using income method would have other transfers from abroad in addition to the specified 12 monthly transfers of 65k +
  16. Did you obtain Thai citizenship or born a Thai national. The attached thread I posted earlier seems to suggest a difference.
  17. https://aseannow.com/topic/1309828-renew-retirement-visa-in-phuket/ This attached thread has links to requirements specific to Phuket. Nothing has changed. Since you are using income method I suggest you obtain a 12 month bank statement showing 12 monthly deposits. This thread discusses income method. https://aseannow.com/topic/1324907-65k-monthly-method-for-retirement-visa/
  18. Anyone that would Plan to go into overstay should be aware very poor choice. Even leaving it till late. Most good advice on AseanNow is to apply for extension as soon as window opens. 30 days early for most offices.
  19. Good advice however can't recall a few days overstay and immigration not accepting application for extension. Indeed would receive a fine. Can't understand the OP even contemplating an application after expiry of current permission of stay. Can occur by oversight.
  20. Was not aware of that change in policy. Previously enter on foreign passport the requirements for stay was determined by that pp. Good news for folk with Thai passport. I see George started this thread last year. https://aseannow.com/topic/1305176-immigration-news-for-all-thai-dual-citizens/
  21. OP, just do a border bounce either by land or air. Reenter Thailand visa exempt. That will give you 60 day stamp that can be extended by 30 days. Assume you are not married to a Thai.
  22. They want the same stuff each year but need new pics. You will need to show 12 monthly deposits of 40k (minimum) Bankbook should be fine. The account ownership is just the "bank letter" (example attached) . It shows the account # plus balance and your name as sole name of the account The bank letter can be up to 7 days old, however suggest you obtain it day prior. The account can be updated on the day either with machine in wall or small deposit.
