  1. That's irrelevant as it's 2 visa exempt entries per calendar year. End of.
  2. Strange as AU along with others were taking up to 6 weeks . I just renewed my AU PP. 3 weeks. Don't be shy. Which country. Never heard of same day pp renewal.
  3. Some others have said pay overstay at airport. Many would be surprised how common short overstays are. One/two days as is case with OP.
  4. 90 report at CW is busy. Be aware that a bullet proof option is to do TM47 via mail. However that should be done 15 days prior to due date. Don't know what part of appointment was difficult
  5. Above was referring to @Upnotover post which is correct. Yes they hand the print out back. Just a tip for others. When you have the email approval check it like a hawk for slightest error because airline and Immigration do.
  6. You can apply for extension at immigration which will be rejected and be given 7 days to get out of dodge. Personally, I would just go to airport and pay the 2 day overstay. 1000b. Some folk will disagree with that option.
  7. https://aseannow.com/topic/1291703-entering-thailand-with-less-than-6-month-valid-passport/ Or read posts from ubonjoe in this thread In any event the OP,s gf is Thai and has correct answer. She has no issue
  8. You exit without a reentry permit and your permission of stay ends. It's not a Retirement visa. You have a 90 day permission of stay. Turn around and reenter visa e exempt. That gives a 30 day stamp. That can be extended by further 30 days at immigration office. You stated you need extra month. Border bounce can provide 60 days with extensioin
  9. You need to exit Thailand and upon reentry you will receive a 90 day stamp. Re the 90 day report. Immigration has used the application for the 60 day extension as reset for report.
  10. OP, border runs and even flight out and back not simple from Korat. However seems a possible solution.
  11. OP, as others have stated she has no issue. Be aware that with Jetstar sometimes you need to request a senior staff member if there is an issue at check in. The 6 month rule even for non Thai does not apply for Thailand. It's an airline thing. In any event she is Thai. No problem. BTW my thai gf had to renew her pp recently. She went to the office that deals with that here in Bangkok. The new pp arrived NEXT day ems ...I kid you not.
  12. You are correct. I completely misread the OP. So the one bounce in January + extension means still has one more visa exempt via land available
  13. It's referred to as "opportunity cost" Try working out compound interest on 800k at 7% (conservative) for 10 years. Back to the OP...some posts in thread including OP, seem to refer to FD account. 3 month bank statements may be insufficient if using savings account. Even if dedicated account. Last week I had stamps transferred to new passport. I had chat with one of senior io. She wants me to provide 12 month bank statement for my next extension. Money in bank method CW
  14. The credit advice is more to show that the funds came from abroad. Personally I would provide credit advice and statement. Your current extension was based on money in bank method. Doubt they will accept you switching to monthly income method.
  15. @Bangkok Alex is correct. You have done your 2 visa exempt entries per calendar year. You can apply for a tourist visa at nearby consulate eg Vientiane. That consulate requires appointment Appointment here https://thaivisavientiane.com/ Edit: OP this post is incorrect. @Liquorice has posted correct reply
  16. Immigration will accept bank letter and bank statements up to 7 days early. Be aware that some offices insist upon update on day of application and even "activity on day of application. A small deposit achieves both. Don't be concerned the balance does not match the bank leter
  17. The OP asked a genuine question and not that uncommon. Some of the emoji demonstrates silliness. It does. The OP asked for advice and I suggested an alternative. Stand by that. This is temporary situation. Clearly the marriage is solid and OP not trying to scam in situation where separated (no longer a couple) is not the case. Perhaps better option for you is to actually post advice to the OP.
  18. This is good information. Can you outline your open discussion with immigration office as generally this switch not simple. Immigration would insist on extension based on marriage if indeed not divorced. Read ubonjoe first post in this thread. Last sentence. https://aseannow.com/topic/1242913-1-year-extension-non-o-i-have-thai-wife-and-thai-kids-which-one-is-better-or-more-hassle-free-for-extension/
  19. He is referring to folk that require agent to obtain Non O retirement + 12month extension from visa exempt or tourist visa entry. Ongoing only extension is needed
  20. Not required but as the saying goes "up to you"
  21. The number 12500b is accurate for annual extensions At a guess that would be Maneerat (Pattaya). In fact, I was speaking with them last week. Confirmed 12500 annual extension and 4k for multi reentry permit. In any event view this thread as a guise to debate "use of agents" which generally ends up closed thread. BTW: I have been here 10+ years. Have never made a TM30. My first extension I submitted a 12 month lease and no TM30. Have been same address for 11 years up since the time started extensions. Never require a TM30 to obtain all the usual things such as certificate of residence, TDL etc etc. I do TM47 when required. All these posts re having TM30 and TM47 stapled in pp, I find hilarious.
  22. Yes. This is what I do. Others have their own MO. I make appointment for extension based on retirement. Attend immigration with enough time to deal with bank. Do not go to teller. Obtain ticket for bank letter. The clerk will know exactly what you need. Ask her to deposit 100b into your account and do bank letter (also 100b) Ask her to photocopy this updated last page. Note previously CW were happy with photocopies of my bankbook pages. Recently they required bank statements. That can be done in week prior to appointment. I do it day prior. So yes can all be done same day. Be aware Bangkok Bank requires several days to provide bank statement. My bank (kasikorn) like many others can do it on the sport however takes time. 200b.
