  1. My post concerned annual extension not applying for extension 3 months early as you needed to do. At a guess thinking they were also covering your financials.
  2. Free Tip: don't rely on immigration offices. Do your own research. AseanNow one example. Continuing the monthly transfers when out of Thailand is obviously required.
  3. You are not understanding various replies. UK, USA, AU embassies do not provide "income letters" If using income method then immigration will want to see 12 monthly transfers of 65k for retirement OR 40k for marriage. You mentioned going home for 3 months .....just continue with the the transfers. You did not prepare properly, even with agent 😔
  4. Agents offer two different options. a) cover the financial requirements b) just organization (hand holding) If it's a) then method would be money in bank method If it's b) then can be either money bank or income tax
  5. And that's how it should be imo. Being over 50 is the requirement for non O . Some (myself included) don't even receive a pension. However have monthly income that meets the financial requirements. Again depends on immigration office. Some just want to see 12 monthly transfers. Others want proof of "pension"
  6. That would depend on immigration office. Read somewhere that a chap asked CM immigration and was told "No" So it's one that you need to ask your particular immigration office
  7. Don't even understand need for agent or email to immigration you went on about. You were taking a 3 month trip out of Thailand. That's all. Continue your monthly transfers using eg WISE with internet banking. Seems even with an agent you have not prepared correctly.
  8. Off topic post removed
  9. Don't know what you mean by open ended. Money in bank method is an option. Requires funds in bank 800k 2 months prior and 3 months after application and not below 400k in other months
  10. You would need to show 12 months of transfers of min 65k for that to be an option without embassy letter
  11. Most likely the issue would not be with immigration. More likely poor preparation. I advised the OP to not go last day. Last week or two is a good plan.
  12. No problem. Just don't leave it till last day and you are missing something that the io wants.
  13. What are you referring to. Thinking obtain a 12 month extension to current permission of stay permit. Applying for extension can be made up till date of expiry
  14. Good. Which immigration office?
  15. That will depend on immigration office I'm suggesting that you accumulate funds from pension and rent till that is 65k . At that point do ONE transfer from UK to Thai bank account in your name only 65k
  16. Suggest that you have your UK pension paid into your UK bank When your rent income + pension is 65k then do a WISE transfer on very similar date every month. Thinking for you that will be latter part of the month.
  17. Almost seems hypothetical question. Thinking post exactly specifics details for best advice.
  18. Correct. I have been transferring 120k each month and the next day it goes into my Thai partner account.
  19. That is a pretty good summary. Currently I'm satisfying the money in bank method and simultaneously have been doing monthly transfers and for my next extension asking immigration for switch to income method. The other thing to consider is each particular immigration office interpretation of "income" Some offices happy to just see consistent international monthly transfers. Some want to view some sort of proof of "pension" No wonder some folk use agents
  20. I have no idea what your wife has to do with it. You killed off the non O-A along with extension from it. You then obtained a NEW Non O based on retirement. You don't need to be married and as a result the wife does not need to show you are still married. I think io was confused with common situation of someone changing from based on marriage to based on retirement. This is common when divorce occurs and for first extension based on retirement they may want to see that you are still married. Otherwise you would have needed to exit Thailand as your extension would be invalid upon divorce. You left Thailand and "Started over" marriage irrelevant
  21. When asked what visa you have you answered ....."Non O based on marriage." Seems you obtain multi entry non O marriage. That's not being pedantic. Two very different visas. That now requires 400k baht seasoned for 2 months.
  22. Assume single entry. What happens after that. How do you plan to obtain extensions
  23. That's also exactly what I'm doing. Seems the OP needed to ask his question prior to obtaining his current extension and apply your plan. OP, you should also check with your immigration what they will except as "pension , income ..etc
